do you restock feeder fish every once in a while? or are the ones that are still in there particularly good at running and hiding? (or are the bigger fish so well fed they don't bother chasing moving food)

The eels pick off some mosquito fish here and there but they also breed. The gar haven’t started feeding yet because it’s still too cold for them to eat.

What I would absolutely love is for you to get a common pleco for the pit. I know it's an unpopular opinion and they're basically pests. But a home of this scale for the pleco would be heaven. I love plecos. I have one in a 66 gallon. If it's a tropical pit, pleases consider a hugeass pleco
