I have now 2pcs. of the V4 JK. Some suggestions in generel: - Add both, the breaker to easily switch off the pack (or add a nice switch) and the fuse as last line of security (may be 300A fuse medium fast blow) - move the communication board to the middle, so the main power cables are not interupting with communication cables, status LED and setting switches - speak with JK that they have to add a better shunt which recognice also small amout of current flowing (my SoC is running away over time if the pack is nearly in idle) - I also miss the energy counter in communication protocol on JK as kWh I also have a V2 with Seplos (now spare/other use). This is a great one but was very harsh on current limit and need an active balancer addon. I saw from Jens (Meine Energiewende) that you now have the Neey Balancer option to add. Good choice! Looking forward for a round table with seplos and JK to find a JKplos :) Accuracy and communication protocol (Victron) from Seplos with overcurrent option, balancer, software, settings and app from JK packed in a case with main switch and fuse where I can see the communication board. I'm happy to get an upgrade kit to V6 :) Keep going, you do a good job in development!

@@dermozart80 I have the older ones with 304A (1C) which is ok with pulsing, but with 2 Modules all is nice. I don't want stress the cells if it is not needed.

With the change from a breaker to the fuse, you are now really reliant on external devices to disconnect your battery. Folks, get a descend battery disconnect for your system! Also, music is copyright?

Hello, Andy, thanks for your feedback, we do not think this is a downgrade option. The JK BMS is a more advanced and intelligent circuit breaker. The fuse or circuit breaker is intended to remedy the BMS faulty situation, this happening is very small, and we found that the temperature rise of the circuit breaker when the current is too large is a hidden danger. Therefore, we think the ANL fuse is more practical. music is copyrighted.👍

@@eelbatteryofficial Have the same opinion of Andy, and it’s not practical to have to disassemble most of the battery to replace a fuse, they also produce heat each of my T class 135A uses 25W, if is safer than the breaker put it outside the box. Will be nice if you have the fire extinguisher in the website has an option to upgrade previous box’s.

ANL fuses are typically only rated for 32V, not 58V. Shortcuts and cost savings should not be used on OCPD devices. This is disappointing to see.

The pricing landed to Countries in South East Asia still doesn't make sense given out economies compared to Western markets. We're still better off using slightly used ex-telco server rack batteries. The material quality is great but on a cost basis it isn't a fit.

This fuse is not good enough for this application,, pretty sure the company that built those breaker isnnot serious. I've built my own boxes and use what we call in Europe a knife fuse, then a breaker for easy isolation if needed. In my opinion, that's how you should do it. The rest is pretty good inwould say, we can't see connectors between multiple packs and to the inverter busbar. The fuse should be near the positive pole, like 2 cm from it. Check the size of a knife 200A fuse, check how it is built, l1 for a knife fuse is over 100kA and that's what is needed here, a pack like that can generate thousands of amps if shorted. The fuse you use is ... not good enough.
