Initially I was a bit worried about Oliver's enjoyment cause of his nature to take his time and well, the timer. Then I remembered the madlad played on the hardest difficulty 1st playthrough in the main game😂i'm glad it worked out. And i'm so glad that I can chew on this video! Thank you!

@sanga000 You misunderstand, I mentioned the timer because it's tied to the difficulty. With him taking his time he makes the simulation runs harder. But of course Oliver is a self proclaimed "god gamer" so it was nothing to worry about x)

​@@patrickwjrwhateverclips1329 Oliver was chugging loop time delays like a cyberpunk protagonist chugs stabilizer medicine. I would think it's a rare item that you only find once or twice in a run but Oliver found a way to craft those en masse, so... permanent lowest difficulty unlocked :D

Mooncrash is underrated... btw for new players here's a tip before escaping as the different characters, drop your inventory for the next character in the simulation run.

Seconding. The MULE Operator is not the only way to transfer items between escapees, just the most convenient. You can dump your entire inventory in an empty container and reclaim whatever you need with the next one. Also, obsessively recycling helps cut way down on space. Keep a couple orange-quality weapons you really like (I'm partial to an electric Huntress Boltcaster or wrench and a Psionic Psi-Knife, myself) and recycle any lower-quality ones and assorted trash you find. Stuff the raw recycled matter in the MULE alongside any medkits, suit repair kits, and medicines you find, and you're good to go.

This is actually a surprisingly cool idea for a game. Roguelite with a narrative focus. Never seen that before. The timer and multiple characters per run is fascinating too, there's so much potential in that. So much potential for a spiritual successor to this. Maybe even add in some time specific events that happen the same time each run like Majoras Mask or Outer Wilds and that would be incredible.

I'm not sure if I want to watch this one or not. Even though Prey is one of my all-time favorite games, I still haven't played through the Mooncrash DLC. It might be because it works more like a rogue-lite, or the difficulty, or the time limit thing. But for some reason I just didn't... Like it? I tried it once, got one character down, then that character died and the thing reset, and I was like "Oh..." and I haven't returned to it since. It's not the game's fault, it might just be me who doesn't have a taste for that kind of gameplay. But now that I think about it, maybe I will watch this. Normally I'm pretty serious about avoiding spoilers but maybe this will give me drive to try the DLC again and maybe try to finish it.

This is so me. I recently bought both since I’ve played prey multiple times but so far Mooncrash is a bit too hard for me. Which is strange because I play prey on nightmare mode. The timer makes it even worse. I really want to watch the video but I haven’t finished the game but I’m not sure if I ever will. 😢

No, its not a spoiler of the game, its just the premise of the DLC. Completely separate from the main game story, you're all good.
