Eerie Abandoned Groundskeepers Cottage

Plenty of walking on todays explore comes with a True fascinating story from this wonderful location in general .
for a moment this rather large hornet had us both startled , only shame was the level of added destruction not made by nature reclaiming more from those hell bent on destruction of everything .

that was a standard british hornet the asian ones are a bit bigger and more yellow , not as aggressive and live in these kinda places .

Very creepy that gate keepers house, shame it's in such bad condition. Think at one time this would have been a lovely gatehouse. OH My gosh that hornet DAMN!!! Oh the dower house this is on my list . So, it's good to see it , As haven't been yet, but it's a place I have wanted to visit for ages. Yes, it is to do with henry the 8th and his knight , and it was built for Lady Ursula, not just left to her. Also, I don't think the knight ever actually lived in it. I think he died before it was finished and then Ursula lived in it. I think she and the rest of the family are buried in St Mary's church I think? LOL I may have got this all wrong though.

the church is open daily so when you do get to go i am guessing there will be a lot of info in there , and everything i said about the Elephant man is genuine x

Really enjoyed it Strange how a little bug ( ok with a huge stinger) can freak out a full grown adult 🤣 was going to see if Paul was going to do a food challenge but he wasn’t having any of it 🤣
