During the 1 hour mark, someone pitted early in the race and stayed there the whole time. Assuming that is because they had to leave the race but didn't want to get a DR hit for exiting the race early. How did he do that? Can't find anything online,

I’m new to the game so I could be wrong but I think if you enter the pit and don’t select fresh tyres or refuel then the car will just sit there

the pitstop won't progress without you selecting tires. Just don't confirm anything, and you'll stay there without getting an afk kick.

@@Krukikro thank you! Have two littles so while I like to think they are asleep by 10:00 anything can happen and would hate to get extra DR loss if I need to bail mid race.

Why are there so few races that require strategic thinking, such as managing tires and fuel? It seems like 9 out of 10 races use hard tires, with soft tires hardly ever being used. I thought this was supposed to be a realistic simulation, but it feels like we're seeing the same thing over and over again. Wheres the rain?
