I was surprised too, I didn't realise it was something so many people found difficult lol. EDIT: Thinking about this again, it might not be that people can't remember the melody, but that they aren't counting and are just guessing where to put the notes. I learned musical notation before doing music production so I'm used to not having audio feedback and having to recognise the intervals between notes, but I imagine this is harder if you're only used to entering a melody by ear.
