How does a three phase fault give zero power flow out of the generator? A three phase fault is scenario where the highest current flow. It is also called a bolted fault.

You are referring to the short circuit current. When there is a fault at the generator terminal, the CB trips and the generator and the grid are physically separated. Thus, there is no electrical power transferred from the generator to the grid. The current he was talking about was the current transferred from the generator to the grid.
