Great questions 😄 I'd consider it soft hardstyle. I wanted to make a song that wasn't super stereotypical "hardstyle kicks" heavy like the genre usually is because I wanted it to be a gateway to the genre for people who hadn't heard of it before. A lot of my music is inspired by Trance melodies and song elements (Curtains quite heavily so with the bridge and Intro), classic EDM and depending on the "theme" of the song, the core genre which I'll be trying to follow! As for song recommendations, been listening to this nonstop since it dropped: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqCbioZvjJaYetE I may try to make something closer to this style of hardstyle soon. Who knows... 🤫
