EF2 tornado devastates village in Muskingum County after striking without warning

I grew up in Frazeysburg. My uncles, aunts, and grandmother still live there. The roof from the new deli/restaurant was on my grandmother's house. It's apocalyptic looking. The NWS reasoning for not warning ONCE AGAIN is that the storm before this one had higher velocity scans and didn't produce one? What was the reason for the earlier cell to go unwarned? What was the reason for the Storm Prediction Center to not set watches AFTER it was apparent that these storms could become dangerous? AFTER a toddler was killed in MI. NWS is just peachy with being lazy this season or what?

Yes, we get them to. Especially during outbreak conditions like the U.S. is currently in. We had six in one day back in I think it was early as March 4th. Three EF-1s, two EF-2s and one half-mile wide EF-3 that unfortunately took three lives. They just won't stop this season. Even testing some storm chasers.

“When we didn’t get any reports of damage” so you didn’t warm something with rotation even though you saw it?? I know there’s radar holes in this area but come on. Awful budget cuts to the NWS lead to this being unwarned. Thankfully there’s no fatalities but this is inexcusable. We need better radar coverage and we need another NWS office that isn’t just Wilmington.

Not to mention the NWS was moderating at the time. I even saw what happened and i was moderately it till it ended, theres no excuse for how the NWS took no action.
