Nice one Ed. About your destination after the Bay of Biskay, I would cross the Atlantic and head to South Pacific, where you can find uncrowded spots. Mediterranean Sea I believe is quite busy. But that's just my point of view, that like secluded places better. June is coming soon!!!

Fully agree! Europe can be too crowded at times. Good to have options. I believe either way we will have a great time. Thanks for leaving us a note. :)))

I'm new to your channel and I like what I have seen so far. I'll go back to the beginning and should be caught up or current in no time at all. Now for the question at hand, personally I'd go into the Med. checkout all Spain has to offer, move around to France, Italy, up the Adriatic to Croatia, down to Greece, Turkey etc... loop around then head across the Atlantic. I mean, you're right there. And on a boat you can find plenty of places off the beaten path that others can't get to, plenty of privacy. Can't wait to see what you do.

Robert thank you so much for your message ! I am with you! Fully agree with your recommendation and can’t wait to explore Europe further. Plans still up In the air but the more we pounder on it the more sense it makes to keep the new boat in Europe for a while. Thank you for taking the time to watch our videos, hopefully you will enjoy it. We are trying to improve quality along the way and provide helpful content to our community! Fair winds !

Eduardo, can you give us an update on Kauana Sailing Expedition? When will they return to making episodes? & I think you have the potential to be an up and coming channel.
@SailingJoy5 жыл бұрын
Hi Roger I hope all is well. Last I spoke to them Larissa and Christian were well and living in Brazil. Hopefully after this winter they are back at Kauana and continue their adventure. I also look very much forward to not only seen them back but meet them again to sail together. If I hear anything else I will let you know ! All the best and thanks for the kind words. Eduardo

With everything that is going on today, I would plan my trip conservatively in terms of where can I receive excellent medical care should something go wrong, and I would avoid long transatlantic voyages with no medical support along the way. The other thing is I would prepare my trip with plenty of tasty freeze dried food aboard, and I would use this both in case of an emergency or in case ports along a voyage way maintain quarantine, and, therefore, it becomes logistically impossible to buy groceries. It is not ideal, but it can be tasteful, and it will not spoil if kept away from U.V. light, moisture, and humidity. Take plenty of canned food for the same reason. An important canned food to take is tomato sauce. You can make pizzas, spaghetti, etc. if you have it. Take teas and coffee if you drink them; they take very little space, and it will bring variety in your drinks all day long. For water take a water distiller. I know you have a water maker onboard, but it might not kill viruses. A water distiller will literally vaporize the water at high temperatures. You can then make ice with it, and have safe cold drinks. If the virus is land based, what prevents it from becoming water based? It appears to like cool weather. Therefore, in the summer it might seek refuge in the cool ocean waters. All life seeks to survive and adapt. Plan, also, on taking grains, pasta, and any other long term storable foods that you can store in sealed, airless, and waterproof plastic containers. Also, take fishing gear with you, and don’t fish while near the coasts for health reasons.
