Wow! I first came across this channel last year and watches a few consecutive videos but for some reason it stopped appearing on my Utube feed until this one popped up. I have to say that Patricia has really emerged from beneath her skin to become an informative video subject, an emergence that I have noticed with other 'newby' sailing partners on other sailing channels over the years, and a very attractive one to boot. I wish you both well and look forward to your next summer off saiiling. Cheers for now from Oz.

End of the journey into Italy ! Next season starts soon and we are recording everything for YT. We truly hope our paths will cross. We will be between Greece and Albania around September.

I have sailed these waters around south Croatia many times and I find it very bizarre that you couldn't find a single spot to anchor. You have 4 large bays to anchor in Lastovo, but they are very well hidden and enclosed (one is even called "Skrivena Luka" which means "the hidden port"). Even when I arrived in Lastovo during the middle of the night I found plenty of anchoring options... It's a shame beacause Lastovo is an absolute gem of natural beauty and it feels completely different to the rest of the Dalmatian islands.

Unfortunately it was extremely crowded and there was not a space that I felt comfortably anchoring as well as other boats that arrived at the same time. We had been to Lastovo in the beginning of the season and spent a week there so we were familiar with the 4 bays you mentioned. I guess we were not lucky this day.

Ed, have you guys sailed a Lagoon 50? Is the extra space worth the extra cost? Thanks for the vid you two!

Hi Geoff ! Yes we have sailed the L50 and loved it. The only issue now is that they came up with a new model the L51 so it may cause the L50 to depreciate. One thing to always keep in mind is the resell value of those boats as the market for L42 and L46 are much larger then the L50s ! All that said the L50 are great and we really liked the boat and how it did sail.

@@SailingJoy Me + 3 kids + occasional guests = 50. Gotta give children and young adults their own space and privacy. The 50 price coming down is to my advantage. A 51 won't beat a 50 if they both have code 0 or similar sails so... GAME ON!

Sailed out of Split, Croatia last fall from a Saturday to Saturday. 2nd time doing it. Which is yiur favorite island off Croatia? I like Korchula. We did climb up to "Tito's Cave."
