A rough 15 minutes or so, of running an Volvo T5 C30 with a GT30 Garrett, using the dyno, and locking the inlet & exhaust camshafts at various angles using the ECU software (M-Tune).
We run the vehicle up and overlay the graphs.
A very basic example of of turbocharger spool vs cam angles.
The Volvo T5 engine here uses a continuously variable system, the most common you're likely to come accross, it's the cheapest to manufacture. It allows us to change to any cam angle we desire. It's controlled in this case by the closed loop system in the MaxxECU race.
This video is literally just looking at turbocharger spool. :-)
