I liked it so much more before you added the white. For me it was too much white. But I do look forward to you doing more pours on vinyl!!!

Wow. I thought I was the only one. Every other commenter seems to like the white. The original pour had a great colour mix, if a little intense in their effect. I agree with Melissa in that the orange was too dominant. With the white, I think I would have preferred it without that final angular splash as it made the white dominant. Wonderful effects in the interaction of colour mix and white though. Resin finish is ideal for this. Why would it need to be behind glass instead of mounted on a black square of mdf with some lipped beading? The resin protects the work...

Very pretty. I always tape the hole from the back and I use black spray primer over the labels. It makes it much easier

Gosh at first I thought Yuk! Then you poured on the white and I thought ok it’s better but when you resined it I loved it and I don’t usually like resin on art work but for this record it works beautifully and I love it! I think I have learnt perseverance to not scrape so quickly as well!

That is gorgeous!!!! And WOW do those colors look so bright in the sunlight!! I love old records...so many fun things to do with them and make loads of cool looks. Years ago after our son was 21 he came back home for a visit and had gotten interested in wine while, so I had bought a bunch of old records at the thrift store and then once he was home we made a very cool wine rack with them and I've painted on others....its a fun element for sure!! But I've not poured on them, but it could definitely be fun!! Maybe some darker colors for the music area...and gosh I love the look of resin on pours....something about that thick glass like bubble and how it really brings the color to life...gorgeous! Its not necessary on all pours, in my opinion, but there are some that are just fun with it :) very awesome job! And I agree...art and music...must haves in life!!! Beautiful Mel!!🥰💕 Ps...I also love how it pulls into the center...and also the cool window the resin made in the center :) do you know how she'll be hanging them...or if they'll be set in like little easels around the shop? Just trying to picture it :) oh, take pictures once some are up...I'd love to see them in there!! Such a cool place to show your art...perfect!!!

I use records a lot with acrylic. I put a small piece of electrical tape to block the bottom (back) side, but I like the way your paint moved in the center leaving it open! I can't wait to hear about your new white mix! I have a lot of arteza in the studio, so this is very inspiring for me!

This came out so beautiful!!! I don't know if I can wait weeks to find out about your new white recipe!!😂 Although, I still don't even have the cloud pour effective yet. I went by your recipe and it just didn't work for me!! I'm sure it's because I don't have my consistancies right!!! I couldn't have started with too harder techniques, the bloom and the cloud pour!! Maybe I should work on some other techniques to learn more about paint consistency!! I totally enjoy watching you create art!!!! Gives me something to shoot for!!!!🥰🥰
