The casual disrespect is so wild rn. How do you discount the impact of GRAVITY when looking at guys like Tatum. When Tatum is drawing doubles, still averaging 26, 10, and 6 in the playoffs so far, Jaylen Brown is doing 25, 6, and 2. Both are excellent players, this narrative is pointless. JB benefits from JTs gravity, and vice versa based on what the defense gives them and who is on any given night. Tatum's gravity is so overblown. He's not seeing as nearly as many doubles as you think, but that shouldn't matter. If he is above the level of Brown, grade him on that scale. Double teams shouldn't even be brought up if you believe he's on that level.

Most teams are putting their best wing defenders on brown. This playoffs especially. Siakim, Okorro, Highsmith, Nesmith. Brown is also good at escaping doubles. But I wouldn't say all of them are. It is highly dependent on the analyst. And the fact they all had different players for their answer is a way of showing it is a team sport. Honestly, I think the strategy is clear for Luka. The Celtics used it in the regular season both times they faced the Mavs ( I know I know regular season). Allow Luka to cook but stay at home on the others. Boston won the first game by 9 and the second by 28 These are pre and post trades for Dallas. Tatum has 39 and Brown has 34 and Luka has a 33pt triple double in the first game. The second game, Luka has a 37pt triple double again, Tatum with 32 and Brown has 25. Tatum and Brown are going to be an absolute nightmare for the Mavs the way I see this. Last point. What makes Indiana so tough is the constant action, player movement, ball movement and the unpredictability with Hali out. The Mavs tend to have less action and are much more predictable in what they run...Boston has two all-defensive backcourt members. I could be way off but I don't see this series as being that close. Minnesota is a much tougher match-up for Boston. Boston in 6 but possibly 5. I give 6 games because Kyrie and Luka can be absolute magic with their skill set.

It’s sad ppl think that Luka is “battle tested” but not Boston who’s been in the ECFs every year lol

Luka throughout his career has been amazing in the playoffs, he usually exceeds expectations so that’s probably why. Also he won a Championship in Euroleague so people feel like he is beyond his age in professional experience for US standards. Lastly he’s clutch

@@marckusduverger9776 what he’s done overseas has nothing to do with the nba … he’s not too clutch .. this is his first chance to go to the finals

The fact that they were all able to name different players for who is the most important player for the Celtics in the finals just goes to show you how good their starting 5 is. Hopefully kristaps is back and healthy all series 🤞

I understand no one has come back from a 0-3 series deficit. But it’s funny how everyone’s talking like the Mavs are already in the Finals, and not about to play a probably extremely hard fought Game 4.

Y’all don’t stop this narrative of bring one man down while praising the other? It’s absolutely disgusting!🚮 When JT takes the show in NBA finals will y’all come here and say JT over JB? Time and time again, the media is so obsessed with downplaying the Celtics, from their playing style down to the players.🚮

Brown should be given the keys to the Franchise. He makes more effort and is mentally stronger than Tatum. Where Brown has separated himself from Tatum is that Brown has become more efficient than Tatum. But if both Tatum and Brown had a great coach like Spoelstra, Popovich Kerr or Ime Udoka had continued as the Celtics coach, Tatum would have been a top 5-7 player in the NBA because he needs someone to push him while Brown is self driven. Its evident that Brown has worked on his game so much more than Tatum has the past 2 seasons.Tatum still has those negative tendencies of chucking hopeless 3's and Mazzulla is to blame for Tatum's lack of development in the past two seasons.

One thing I’ve noticed about the narratives about both Boston and Dallas-both teams have been heavily disrespected and criticized by the media, so we should be taking our frustrations out on them, not to each other. Boston has been hiding in plain sight due to their dominance in the regular season, but no one respected it. Dallas made a late push into the playoffs after the trades and deals they made, but no one respected it. The media has done a disservice to both franchises, not giving them their due earnest and respect. So let’s not fall under the same trap the media is trying to do with us either. That being said, Celtics in 5 😂🍀.

It ain’t about Jt or Jb. It’s about each and everyone one the Celtics trusting each other and playing like the great team that they are.
