If the whole term is greater than 1 1-(>1) is negative ! Implies efficiency of diesel engine is negative ! how is this possible !? Instead If the other two terms multiplied value is >1, except (1/Rk^(gamma-1)) Then we can say efficiency of diesel engine is less than Petrol engine Note: (1/Rk^(gamma-1)) has to be less than 1 .
