Assalamu3laikum Zain. Jazakallahu khair for all the videos you're posting, it's helping me, a Biomedical Engineering student learn how to study effectively, that being said, I'd like to ask you something, why wouldn't you use Chat GPT to make recall questions? I'm not sure if it's because the stuff you're studying is quite niche and engineering might have enough publicly accessible information about it, or it might be because your course content is too rigorous and the details too meticulous for chat GPT to get questions done. But is there some element of using brain power that must be done in making recall questions in order to memorize more effectively? Because I've cross checked the questions chat gpt has been giving me with the syllabus that I have and it covers every point, so would it be ok to use chat gpt for my work? (Sorry I wrote a whole ted-talk, I just really need some advice rn, I appreciate it if you read this far )

Thanks 🙏 short answer is yea use and generate the questions if you cant access past papers and question banks.
@stellam404
@stellam404 2 ай бұрын
I love creating my own recall questions as it allows me to relate several concepts with the current one. The 5W + 1H question format helps in relating and remembering the questions you create, making it easier to remember the content. It's okay to use AI tools to create further questions, like MCQs or for extra practice. However, creating your own recall questions, similar to exam-style questions, helps more as it falls under the 'creation' stage of Bloom's Taxonomy.

Hey ! I just watched the video because I am really struggling with my dental school … but bro don’t you think that your method is harder than studying 😭 if I saw past paper and analyze them it will took at least 2-3 hours + study 3 topics together it sounds like I have to be genius 😭😭😭
@zain_asif

Those 2-3 hours will save you 20 hours of useless revision you'll be doing if you don't guide yourself using the actual past papers.

@zain_asif
@zain_asif 2 ай бұрын
Not much changes from my usual way of revising. Just had a look at some GRE sample questions. I'd figure out every single question type that they could possibly assess in the quantitive section and the analytical section too. Analyse the past questions and find patterns from the papers as mentioned in the video. I'd group the related topics. I'd make mindmaps for concepts I don't know or haven't learnt (to understand them well). And I'd continuously practise questions everyday, before during and after. Pretty simple.
