Effortless Sixtuplet Grooves & Fills | Drum Lesson in 60 Seconds

These patterns come from a Gary Chaffee concept of a six note pattern with the sticking 'RLRLL' on the hands and a kick drum or hi hat foot note on the 6th partial of the Sixtuplet.
Use this as a groove enhancer to a shuffle or to spice up your sixtuplet fills.

Yeah it took me a while to trick my feet into NOT playing downbeats. Just gotta slow that bad boy down, I recommend triplets at 60 bpm to start.
