One of the tips I would add to an 'overrotator' is to focus the arm insertion to 1 and 11 o'clock. The images from front are a bit skewed but he runs a very steady 12-12. This shows good mobility in shoulders but applied inefficiently. Looks like a strong candidate for a quick 10 per 100 gain ;)

I'm getting comfortable with low 1:30 per 100 yards but I'm swimming 4 sessions per week (of 2000 yds each). I need to improve to 1:25 per 100 yards in order to advance to my next level of masters club swimming group.

do you have any tips on how to secure an underwater camera to the side of the pool? i've got something similar to a go pro with a sealed case that came with different attachments

Gorilla pod attached to lane rope or stair rails Or suction cup depending on the walls

I am already swimming a cruisy or ease 1:35-1:40 pace, what else can I improve on to make that a ease 1:20? or even 1:15? Have any tips or videos on Dryland or workouts to get faster....thank you for your videos....

His main issue is ankle flexibility, straighten up those feet.

Question to all: when there is shown 1:50, is this the time when you swim only one time 100 meters or average for olympic distance, half ironman distance or whatever?

Can you do a video and explain what causes legs and bum to sink and the best way to stop this from happening

Most likely cause is a well meaning too forward ambition. If you want to look where you go the head gets too high and the bum sinks too low ;) Other factors are oxygen fear. You have to trust and experience that the air is there on the turn of the head rather then the lift. If you have a plank you can use add some 25's just doing leg kicks and side breathing. Don't worry about speed. I'm quite sure you doing core workout on land already but a little bit more core won't hurt anyone! Swim strong :)

@Effortless Swimming Hi mate. Like your videos bro. But please let me know why is Adam Walker using these extreme rotation and the forward hand entering the water is always deeper that the text books holy grale of swimming suggests. From what he told me he is doing a nice peace in open water swimming traces like 1.15 and for many km... So where is the rule if there is one? Dont get me wrong I wanna improve and still searching for a way out of the dilema. Iam 42 and iam blocked 1:30 in openwater(perfect conditions)

Send us a video of your swimming and I can see where you can improve. It would be easy if everyone was suited to one style of freestyle only, but it’s not what we see as being best for everyone which is why we don’t teach one method
