You just missed one single dance performance/cover of BabyMons7er... It's of "Jennie from the block live version" and it's one of their best dance performance as a group imo. BTW now you know why there's so much optimism and pure Joy in BABYMONSTER's fandom since the day YG (YHS) announced that AHYEON is going to join the group with this new album release 🤩🤩 Also, as I said in my previous comment that I've been following YG since 2008 (before 2ne1 debuted) so it was soooo satisfying seeing someone who have actually heard 2ne1 song before and do know how legendary they were (still are tbh.. no-one can replace BigBang and 2ne1 in k-pop, no matter how much views they get or how many record they break, BigBang - 2NE1 was something different) I'd highly highly highly recommend BigBang and 2NE1 songs and specially live performances (either from MAMA or their concerts)

Ahyeon was always my bias. I was so bummed when she had to miss the initial debut due to illness. But I’m thrilled she’s back and that they’ll actually be out promoting the group now.

IMO Ahyeon literally is the babymonster and honestly when BM debuted without her it feels incomplete like they lack the "oomfh" factor so I really can't wait for their OT7 comeback and for sure she will slay it hard!

My bias is Ahyeon. Seems like yours is too. Since you do not have time, I suggest that you check out the Introduction to Ahyeon. Ahyeon is not just one of the great vocalist, the dancing instructress said that Ahyeon is most suited for centre position. By the way, Ahyeon is also a rapper. Not just a rapper rapper, but a great rapper. Unfortunately there are already two great rapper in the group, she won't have much chance to show off as the group probably needed her vocal more. Ahyeon is also an asset to the group when it comes to language. She speaks Korean, English and Mandarin fluently. All YG trainees undergo Japanese lesson, it is inevitable that they all have a good foundation in it as well.

Personally I think the best "guide" for BAEMON would be the individual Member Introduction Videos on the official BABYMONSTER channel, since they are pretty informative and show off quite a bit of their personalities as well. Plus they show some of their earlier trainee material there which is also very interesting :) At least I thought so back when they dropped^^

As others have said. The introduction videos are the best guide you will get. Better than any fan made guide. Also for yourself to see Ahyeon watch episode 7 of last evaluation. Don’t need to react. It’s dangerously, them practising scars to your beautiful and that performance. You will see why everyone was unhappy she left. But at least she is back now.

These are the Baby Monster versions of Gone and Stay. They wrote in the raps for the J line rappers. Every Baby Monster song will have raps even the ballads. That J line rappers Ruka and Asa are out of this world amazing.

I once read one of my all-time favorite comments on BLACKPINK, this one, "It's amazing that they are in the same group", as if to say that it's not easy to find members in a group who individually have such a high level! Well, this can also be said for BABYMONSTER, watching all their individual performances you are struck by their individual level and then you think "It's amazing that they are in the same group, uniting these girls together in one group will be amazing, they will be truly limitless "! And this will be, and this is also why the BABYMONSTER project took YG all these years to complete, and also because YG doesn't usually create girlgroups often but, leaving aside the groups from the early days of YG's foundation, YG debuted 2NE1 in 2009, BLACKPINK in 2016 and BABYMONSTER in 2023! Always true to YG's philosophy is 'QUALITY OVER QUANTITY'!

The 4 girls doing Stay, got criticism for their performance of Stay. Chiquita didn't have time to practice because corona...and her voice hadn't fully recovered.

You can see her others self written lyrics performance in her introduction video, and Asa's too. Additional information about solo performance covered songs, Asa Ruka and Haram, these three girls wrote some lyrics by themselves for those renditions, and there were some melodies rearrangement, too. You will be more surprise if you know what and how these girls made the 'Scars to your beautiful' covered performane be so special just like that. All the said details have been shown in the last evalation series.

Only a week or so before this cover.. and Ahyeon had her solo cover changed mid month to Dangerously, so only had two weeks to perfect it.). I agree with the others... Best way to get to know these ladies better is through their "Individual Intro" videos. (If you watch all of them in one go... about an hour). Keep up with your great reactions! Take care 🇨🇦😜

When doing covers, YG encourages their trainees to make the song their own instead of doing a perfect copy of the song. In the two sub unit covers, "Gone" and "Stay", the YG producers wrote the rap lines for those covers. In the individual covers, the members had full creative control to change up the song to how they wanted. Asa, Ruka, and Haram/Rami wrote additional lyrics for their covers. In the group cover, "Scars to your Beautiful", the members had full control over line distribution and choreography. In addition, Ruka and Asa wrote the rap lines for the song.

33:09 Chiquita was sick earlier. Due to being infected with the COVID-19 virus So she didn't have enough time to practice. Because I need to rest and heal. After she recovered from her illness She went in for the latest evaluation. But she still couldn't use her voice 100%, but back then she did very well. And now she can use her voice 100%. #Baemon👾👾👾👾👾👾👾

You have to watch the entire Introductions (that is your guide) and the entire Last Evaluation series. You need to see their personalities, how they work together, how they both support each other and are hard on each other. You well see all of the OG YG stars helping and evaluating them as well as Lisa mentoring their dance and dancing with them. Jennie blown away by them and giving them great advice. These girls are special and awesome. I have never heard anybody do a Blackpink cover and sound good doing it, but BabyMonster can do that.

Pharita is pronounced Pa•ree•tah or Parita. I guess in Thai the Ph is pronounced with the P sound so think about it when you see something like Phuket. It is pronounce Puket and not Fuket. And as far as her sounding like Rosé, Jennie mentioned how much she sounds like Rosé.The rest of the members sounded like you pronounced them correctly but Pharita is the only one that most people get wrong because of the Thai pronunciation of her name. Ahyeon is not my bias but her return to the group is important. Some people were hating and saying that she shouldn't be shouldn't belong in the group but she is the center and somewhat the leader. The STUCK IN THE MIDDLE and BATTER UP doesn't seem like their actual debut but more of a sub-group activity. In fact they didn't do any music shows but now that they are all 7 members they are doing group activities after April 1. And Ahyeon also does rapping so she is also a triple threat. The performance of Chiquita that you watched when she did traitor is right after she had covid. It happened sometime after mid-check and right before they needed to perform their solos for evaluation. So that wasn't even her best since she lost a week of practice and she also said that she could produce the sounds that she wanted. We could only imagine what it actually sounded like since YG during the mid-check ranked her and Pharita with a 98. The LAST EVALUATION is good to watch if you are interested in their journey but keep in mind that this was also meant as a marketing tool so if you are watching it as wanting to know YGs process of creating a group from their evaluations then it is much better than what some people thought that it was an elimination show.

No guides are better than what YG released. There are official INTRODUCTION videos on the BABYMONSTER channel. It could be 7-10 mins long for each member but everything you need to know about their personalities and talents are there. Also, please include the Character Playlists if you ever get to watching the intro vids. Trust me, these intro videos should be a thing by now since it's done with utmost care and no one knows the members better than the company and the girls themselves.
