I love watching the behind the scenes of trainees. You see them under so much stress before an evaluation but when you see them on their days off- you realize they are just regular girls who are pursuing their dreams. Its heart wrenching when you hear stories of trainees who quit because they didn't make the cut. Spending anywhere between 3-5 years and realizing you don't have what it takes by all the talent agencies is a huge blow. That's why I cheer for anyone who actually debuts!!!! They put so much effort and hardwork, and they deserve respect.

S Koreans have such a different work / school culture compared to westerners. I have great respect for that. BlackPink Jennie who wrote the epic song "Stay" wanting her fellow trainees to not leave breaks my heart (and hers) loved her mentoring the monsters

This is important cuz nowdays companies are focusing more on visuals. Afrer 6months or 1 year they are debuting idols. But you can see talent when idols trained for 4-5 years. You should see the journey.

In Korea before the age system change, everyone turning 20 years old in 1st Jan in Korea is legally an adult! The video was filmed in 2022 so Ruka turned 20 and she’s legally an adult at that time!❤

Haram (Rami) is my bias but in her introduction video while they showed her growth they didn't really show her personality. You get to see more of her personality with the BTS of the LAST EVALUATION but it is her vocals that really got me. I think that aftrer watching the introductions you can understand why people were saying that the group is incomplete without Ahyeon. Eventhough Ahyeon is not my bias I felt that they were not at their full potential and it was because Ahyeon is the catalyst of the group. In Chiquita's introduction video that was the first time that she was meeting with Lalisa and if you noticed that Pharita seemed really calm it was because Lisa has already taken Pharitat under her wing and Lisa was trying to help Pharita with her training for about a year at that point. Chiquita's family is also amazing with her brother Copper also debuting as a T-pop idol and her mother doing Tiktok challenges the talent in this family is unbelievable. Asa live performance is what really impressed everyone kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZ2qnJaha92Kjas. She did a cover of Jouner Lucas remix to LOOK ALIVE which blew everyone away. Not only is she good at rest and aggressive rapping but like you saw in the introduction video she is versatile enough to adapt to different styles and can write her own lyrics. She helped write lytics and also in production for BATTER UP. Rora is the most underrated member in BABYMONSTER. The amount of talent that this girl has is amazing. What is not covered in the intro was that she appeared in a variety show MAN VS CHILD KOREA where she was one of the child chefs. She was a part of U.SSO Girl at the same time that Hyein from New Jeans and is also close to Minju from ILLIT since Minju was a trainee at YG most likey in the BAEMON Project. Rora also does play the piano and when she was younger, was in competitions. Pharita also won 1st place at Inter Model Thailand which is the reason that everyone thought that she would be the visual for BABYMONSTER. She is the other member that is fluent in English and is the one that is asked to speak for BABYMONSTER when thanking the international audiences because her English is so good. Everyone thought that Ruka would have been a good candidate for leader of the group since she was already a member of a girl group in Japan (Shibu3) but like they mentioned in an interview, they are doing what their seniors BLACKPINK did and decided not to have an official leader. Instead Ruka is the one to take lead when it comes to the dancing. In the video if I am remembering correctly they were going by the Korean tradition at the new year you become the age that you are supposed to be at your birthday. She is also the shortest member of the group at 5' 3" while the next shortest member is 5' 6". When Ruka was talking to her mom I think the translation was slightly off instead of it saying, "There'e nothing I can do, but cheer up!" I think a better translation would have been, "Keep working at it and do your best." I will most likely be corrected by people studying Japanese but I remember hearing phrases like this from my grandma and I kind of interpreted like that in my head. Sorry about the ramble here but these are only some of the things about some of the members that aren't even mentioned is some guides.
