Dave. Excellent review. I too have had to replace the shocks. I agree that HH could have fixed it with some minor upgrades. I would be definitely interested in alliminating the aileron to rudder mix. I too understand the concept of having it. By the way, That didn’t look like your normal field you fly. May I ask what location was that? Thanks for doing what you do and your contribution to the RC community. 👍👍😊

Very informative video Marshall. I am working on my Draco right now… looking forward to your ideas on getting rid of the rudder to aileron mix…. I had rather do that on my own… thanks for the vid!

Nice video Marshall!! As you know, I just love the Draco. Your pros and cons comments are spot on! To me there is so much positive with this plane; it our weights the negatives. The flying characteristics do take some getting use to but this is what makes it unique and fun to fly. Awesome review!! This one for sure “changes your RC life”. You the man!

When will you do your video how to disable (or minimize) the Draco aileron/rudder mixing? Thanks
@TheRCAirMarshall3 жыл бұрын
I’ll be releasing that in the near future. A word of warning, I’ve flown it without the rudder mix since I’ve made this video, and it really flies easier with the mix in place. You really have to throw a LOT of rudder into a turn to keep it coordinated. Otherwise the plane will point straight up. LoL

Great video. Just completed my build I wasnt aware of the rudder to aileron mix until now. Ive watched so many other videos you're the first person to mention it. so Im looking forward to a video in the future. One other thing I heard is that the Draco does not like to go inverted.
@TheRCAirMarshall3 жыл бұрын
Well, it produces a lot of lift. So when it goes upside down, all that lift isn’t pushing up anymore. LoL. Thanks for watching!

To Buy that Model and have it shipped is close to $850

Good work Dave. A thin 3D printed dash cover is within the capability of the Marshall.
@TheRCAirMarshall3 жыл бұрын
Perhaps. I would have to get in there and take measurements though, and to be honest I’m a little hesitant to pull that front windshield off. LoL
@mikessi3 жыл бұрын
@@TheRCAirMarshall Maybe Horizon would share the measurements. I wouldn't want to take the window out either. Maybe pass it through the back window, ship in a bottle style.

I really enjoyed your comprehensive review. I too would like to see how to uncouple the aileron / rudder mix and control those individually myself. When coupled does the rudder control dominate or can you manually (by stick) counter that condition? Also I saw an article in one of the hobby forums that a cardboard cover (cut to fit) over the dash helped control that gatoring issue. My Draco got shipped today from HH (after a 89 day backorder wait) so looking forward to some of your fixes. Thank you.
@TheRCAirMarshall3 жыл бұрын
You can fight and counter the rudder mix, yes. I keep a cover over my dash when the plane is on the ground. The gatoring happens while it's flying! LoL... Stay tuned to the channel for some tips on the Draco! Thanks for watching!

I would love to order this plane for $600 but the shipping on top of that to Malaysia is $800. So it's sadly a no go.

I have had some not so good landings and broke the mains. You forgot how heavy she is. I find you have to flare with enough throttle. I would like to see how you remove the mix. I always coordinate my turns with all of my planes.
