I made mine hand launch with laminate on the bottom, and leading edge of all wings. My maiden was at Flite Fest 2023! The flight was “sexy”… The landing was not so much… tuff grass… popped main wings back, and reinforced the elevon control horns. Good as new! You guys are awesome!

I don‘t wanna make fun of your new carpet, but I really think you should apply the roller again. The F-14 (as well as the Rafale in the last video) were bouncing hard during take off roll. Directional control and lift-off are really hard like this. All the best & happy New Year Brothers.

I've had good luck using a bungee launcher for mine. The wheels are useless on grass. Also your transmitter needs an update. They did a patch to fix the voltage warning

The runway carpet might benefit from a layer of granite dust over the soil then roll it and wet it .let it dry out a bit and put the carpet down .moles shoulder not like that and it stays hard and flat .

Robert I said this one other time to you you guys really need to invest in some kind of asphalt or pour a light coat of concrete for your Runway so many plans have been messed up just on takeoff the carpet the plastic whatever you have it's just too rough put something hard down take sheets of 4x8 plywood and set them long ways side by side that would work better a hundred times better for a Runway then what you have now

Voltage under load will always be lower than the storage voltage. If you set the cutoff for 3.8V you are only using a fraction of the available battery capacity. 3.3V is close to dead at rest, yes but this is a different story when pulling current. The more current you pull, the lower the voltage will be, but that voltage will recover when you remove the load and check it at rest. You can't really compare voltage under load directly with resting voltage.
