What is the rope tied to on the efoil side? Anything special about the rope?

Dont buy their efoils until they change and become more transparent. They wont share something as basic as battery fault codes. LIFT publish troubleshooting codes otherwise my advise to everyone else is dont buy even with great Lift warranty service you are up the creek as soon as the warranty expires which you means YOU WILL HAVE $3000 paperweights. I have several would like to at least know whats the issue but Lift is too secret with something so basic for their once super loyal customers. Lift heres to you hopefully listening and finally posting comprehensive LED fault guide. Whats so hard about something this basic and what will it take to reach you on this?
