I've turned off smart assist and will never use it. I played a couple games yesterday against people who clearly use it and you can tell they have no control over their play. Smart assist was making them do over the top balls when a simple through ball would have been better. I battered them and I was frustrated on their behalf😅. Who in their right mind would want to use that feature

Konami lost it. They want everyone to enjoy the game In which one has to lose at the end. After big pay to win set up now they want casual players to win more games. The game is simplified down to a cell phone game and has no depth and complexity that it used to have. I'm so sorry to be watching how one of my favorite games ever is trying to include new trend that I call "casual to win". There has to be something in this game that will reward hard-core old school players who never left this franchise even in it's darkest moments.

I dont know but since 2 months or so i played like 5 games on efootball and in the past i played like 5-8 games a day. The game became so horrible bad. Still no real updates since 2 years and when they do a small its Bs like autoshield who removes the skill gap for dribbling now smart assist activated. I play on console so let me play a console game. I swear this mobile efootball thing ruins the series totally and they forget the people who supported them for over 20 years on console. Without us they would never survive beside Fifa and thats the thank. What a shame.

people will activate whatever makes them win, all play lbc not enjoying it for the most part but most effecitve. To win they are putting 2 month salary in cards, rewarded by nothing for that, as there is no significant things to win to be top d1... for sure a lot will activate it not the best players but the average who adapt themself to game to win fast and dirty instead of learning slowly how you are supposed to play.. if you wanna level up just create a new team, play with gp players on one account, it forces you not to depend on cheated card but to actually play well to win !

Gameplay changed radically since last Thursday, it's now much more difficult to intercept and block, guess it's good for more goals, but defending became much harder and I fear random through balls will be spammed all over.

i think the code of smart assist is causing the chaos from the background. Be it silly passes or weird runs... The gameplay does not need smart assist it needs a rework.. especially passing and movement of the players. Especially Goal Poachers. You cannot run behind the defender every position closing passing lanes they have to run infront of the defender..

Barry smart assist doesn't really help the noobs. It just helps them mentally to cope. For example, with smart assist on they concede 1. With it off the same person would concede 5. That's it.

First of all, that would be a big difference. However, smart assist is more about providing help in attack, not defence.

@@prodigy84bg My theory tho is true. In the events I matched against a noob. I created many chances in that match but scored 1. He had 0 shots. Whenever he got a ball in his box the smart assist would 1 Clear the ball or 2 do a long through pass which destroyed all his build up and wasted his time because I won every 2nd ball.

You miss interpreted commands. The smart assist doesn't clear the ball, players actually do that, they're just dumb. For the long trough pass to be activated, the player has to at least have tried to pass, so he was not building up because he's bad, not because of smart assist. Read what it does and watch the tests from the community, we have HUNDREDS of tests out there about a lot of things on the game, learn about the game

Can you do a video on importance of Physicality. Certain attackers are stronger at holding defenders off regardless of Physical leveling. And some attackers need higher dribbling/tight poss.

Smart assist should have stayed where it was, on vs AI only. It should have never been allowed on PvP. I understand Konami wants to bring new players, new people to play the game and having a mechanic that can ease them into it isn't a bad idea. But at the end of the day new players need to learn all the useful mechanics in the game in order to compete at a high level. I think most people in div 3 and above are sick and tired of the hand holding and have been hoping for a nerf to AI defending, AI interceptions, as well as a buff to PA3 and PA4 that should be the only PA allowed on PvP matches. I also think feints right now aren't as effective as they should be especially when compared to contextual dribbling that seems to be a way better tool to break down the opposition defense. I also think that the auto shielding is super annoying, the entire physical mechanics need to be revamped because it shouldn't be completely automated but it also shouldn't be completely manual, they need to find a middle where you can feel the physical stats of you players on the pitch but at the same time give us some freedom to use them as we see fit.

Ill have to play games again with smart assit on and then off to see the difference. The passing is terrible and scamnomi might be forcing game play to us smart assist to have a high pass success rate. Ive started to play the game less and not log on everyday anymore. Its getting boring.

Instead of adding just something like authentic mode only, they are adding smart assist, thats probably gonna get even smarter so people with f2p players and people who dont play this game enough will still play it while they keep selling the shiny cards.

Hi, I think there are many people with disabilities and is nice to have the smart assist and being inclusive, in order to help archiving goals and playing for the potw and free coins but at the same time should not be that strong to help able-bodied in grinding division or rank events.

After regrettably going for the Ariel forts that made me go deep I'm now considering having a break. Matchmaking again all day for the 3rd week running matching me up with top 200's game after game, Only some of those I was able to give a good game due to the connection, But how can I seriously progress from division 2 to 1 being matched up with these players? I almost feel like Konomi are targeting me ffs, Maybe they've read the survey I wrote out cos everything I complained about has gotten considerably worse! I have never experienced these things before like this but something in the last 3 weeks has my game really off and I'm about done!

lol dude. Same for me On steam. In Div 2 and I actualy play rly good, but 90% of my opponents are top 200. And I’m rank 4000… it’s stupid, I barely ever get a div 3 or 2 opponent

@andreichetan4694 If I was in div 1 I could understand why I get the high levels from "Time to time" but to get them all of the time in div 2 isn't right, And what's frustrating along side that is the input delay making things even harder! Also for the majority of the time my players play hide and seek, It's never been this bad for me even in my Pes playing days, It's like I have no AI and I'm having to control every single player at once. I don't know man, But I'm just not enjoying the game at the moment.

Smart assist is another mechanism that prevents you from playing the game in your own style. It's basically a mechanism that forces you to play in a certain way or protects you from keeping the ball for too long. IMO, it's bad because you have fewer options, and you are forced to play the same way. Simplified gameplay with fewer options instead of mastering skills and game mechanics became boring faster. maybe they want to do cross-platform and balancing (it stupid word for that) the game in this way, they planned to merge mobile/console society. Never playing smart assist after trying it out in the test day. I got 2 loses in over a year from that smart assist week lol. The AI was changing my passing, shooting for me, clearing the ball when i didnt want to making me lose it... it was ridiculous. How smart ass won the survey shows most people not good in the head.

@azimages2538 well not counting coop 2v2 or 3v3 strike arena stuff.. yep. It's because I don't play online matches that much, like 10 or 20 a month and since im f2p it's smart to avoid entering the top 3 divisions 😂 so I just smash the div 6 5 and 4 people but sometimes a wild div 1 badge shows up. Still gets smashed. I was top 100 on PES 2015 and 2013 back in the day.

i played without Smart and then Smart on the CO-OP, but iam struggling with Smart, for me its not usefull.if the Pass go High anstead of Low, high passes never reach the Player

Say no to smart ASSIst‼️ When they 1st introduced it I said it's crap, replied on their official twitter that they just should do a full maneger game then. It at least should have stayed where it was, couple of events here and there and vs AI. If they bring it to Divisions than the game is fully gone and I'm out. Nobody asked 4 this, literally nobody said they like this bs. It's lies , the results of their surveys were never shown and will not be, zero transparency. They just want to appeal to casuals , thats their grift. Mobile platform not to blame, Mobile players didn't want it either. Btw the update won't bring anything, nothing good that's 4 sure

In my opinion smart assist will only hinder experienced players. For new comers it will help them better understand the game. What I don't like when I am playing is lack of control so I am 100% against smart assist personally

Smart assist actually makes the passing even worse than the state that it currently is. But nothing compares to the new addition of the Strikers Arena. Konami said they included smart assist based on feedback! Lies, ive not heard 1 person say they want it or liked it after the trial of it. Pass assist level 1 is bad enough but SA is just rediculous. The game already scripts out to the max and feels fully automatic, you can just feel it when the game won't let you pass and defenders switching off. I've not hated the game this much since 2020

@ibrahimrahimi7467 fifa gambling and might not pack player you want. Efootball gambling but if you have money you can clear the entire box and guaranteed three epic players in the pack. Example Netherlands pack where you got Gullit, Rijkaard and MVB end game card and you're guaranteed to pack all three as long as you clear the entire box.
