No matter how many times I watch rack # 2 ... Efren's 9 ball carrum into the side pocket, 🤤 ... I scratch my head.!! Idk how .... but he seems to defy physics by making the 9Ball actually go backwards into the side pocket ever so slightly???? The angle in which he strikes the 5 ball to carrum into 9 ball doesn't seem to add up to result in the 9 ball moving in that direction?? He IS the Magician on that shot.... and I've watched hundreds of his games, and seen too many incredible shots to count, but that little carrum really impressed me. The odd part was... the commentators hardly talked about the difficulty of what he made the 9 ball do. When looking at the position before he shot, I said that the 9 can't go because it would need to actually REVERSE to make it in?? Yet, I was obviously wrong. Lol Craziness

look at the shadow of the balls, the 9 ball is way behind the 4 ball and it has an angle, look at the cut hes putting on the 4 ball thats how much of a gap there is, hes cutting the 4 ball to the center of the short rail, and the low english just makes it screw back a bit to get in line with the 9, and the tangent line just pockets the 9.

The difference among them: EFREN REYES has a geometrical mind. He can solve obtuse, reflex, straight, acute, right and full rotation angles. That's actually a genius person. For someone who can plot an angles using a cue and a rolling balls has an enormous powerful brain. I have problem plotting an angle while I am sitting in the table with pencil, paper, ruler, and protractor, let alone a moving variable tool object like a cue and a multiple balls. That's an insane power n skills.

I always enjoy watching Efren play. What I don’t enjoy is listening to a biased announcer who (in this case the one with the deeper voice and not the other one who’s dull and “barely awake” tone) makes comments on how good one player is doing and criticizes the other player’s level of play or their demeanor. Mr. “Deep” voice had nothing but praise for Efren even when he missed shots. Mr. Monotone sounds like he had no interest in the game. If he was broadcasting by himself I would have fallen asleep.

I noticed that Oliver started to shoot the cue ball low like Efren does. Efren had to take the pool world by storm, because he knew once he started pro, everyone would copy how Efren played the cue ball and see how Efren used the rails !You can see the difference when the games started! Whoever he was playing, which in time, made some games more difficult to win. Look at Stricklands playing before he started playing Efren, (and all the others)!
