Oh Efren...this stage and your cinematography...b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l !!! The music you are picking for this Camino and the Podiensis...goes so well with the visuals. What a difference 4 years make when you started in 2017. You were good then but now...you are beyond better!!! Thank you Efren so much for all that you do for us sitting at home and dreaming. Danielle

Very, very beautiful. The first video I have seen that provides a virtual sense of the walking conditions and landscape between Roncessvalles and Zubiri. I have seen many photos and read many descriptions but none have created the reality for me until this video! I am not going to rush through this day, nor commence in the dark and miss the beauty!

Still one of my favorite days on the entire camino!

Your enjoyment at your return to the Camino 2.0 is infectious ( in a good way!) I never tire of watching your videos, the quality of your photography is unparalleled. I felt it had a ‘welcome home’ element that was so heartwarming. Thank you so much !

In Zubiri we stayed across that great bridge in a room that faced the river looking at your albergue. Great days walk. Thanks for sharing.

Efren this time your Camino seems more relaxed and a lot more fun. Glad you chose an Osprey. The suspension is so comfortable for me. And I can pack my poles and umbrella easily.

Ahhh. So many memories. Skipper and did a hard fall on that stamped concrete path. Recovered well and pushed on. Met Mary on the other side of the bridge entering Zubiri. Thanks for the memories. Was just 14 days ahead of you.

Churches in Spain are closed since the civil war in the 1930's where the population started a massive pillage of churches' properties like statues of gold and paintings. Some of the property was burned and destroyed. Since then the Catholic Church of Spain has decided to keep all churches closed except during religious, cultural or tourist activities

Oooh, those flowers. All that magenta and purple and scarlet. So lovely. This is making me want to go back to do another Francés so bad. By the way, there's a stretch in this stage that reminds me so much of my home in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. It even smells the same. I'm already feeling sad about this Camino vlog ending. You're capturing every little bit of beauty there is this go around. Thank you.

Efrén the court is call Frontón. I interviewed an old man who explained the game to me in my other channel, BDE Travels.

Efren, your videography is excellent. It's so good to see you on the Camino. You inspire me. Mine comes next year, 2023. Buen Camino y via con Dios, mi amigo! (But what did I miss? How did you get to Roncesvalles?)

I thought that the descent into Zubiri was one of the roughest days on the Camino

Me too. I really, really disliked this day.

Absolutely, I recently read someone called it "Dragons" Teeth" which I thought was quite apt.

I hate those early mornings, before sunrise. Good you do not have to do that the next morning. Do you wash your shoes in the washing machine? It works? Great to see you so happy.
@Walk_with_Efren2 жыл бұрын
No I washed them by hand when they get too dirt and leave them out to dry. I had two pairs so I switched every day

How did you hear change from 2017 to today on the Camino? Great Video!!!
@Walk_with_Efren2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I assume you mean my gear? The biggest change are my shoes. In 2017 I had boots and from then on I've used Trail running shoes. The other changes are in my vlogging kit.
@jg_scorp77322 жыл бұрын
@@Walk_with_Efren oops that’s what I meant. I’m going in September and opting for trail runners instead of boots. Wore boots one the JMT and lost a toe nail 🤣

Hey Efren. What model Gossamer back pack are you using? How does it compare to your Osprey? Thanks
@Walk_with_Efren2 жыл бұрын
I used the mariposa 60 but I'm back to Osprey. You can't beat the suspension and airflow of the Osprey. I love the pockets on the Mariposa which I bought for the AT where I needed the volume it provides for tent, food, and gear.

Thanks Efren. Appreciate it. I have been tempted away from my Exos 48 but your comments saved me some money! 👍
