saw them in Atlanta this past saturday. First time seeing them. Lead guy is super nice and consistent with his sound from the album. opera singer in the backround is drop dead gorgeous and sounds like an angel. compelling, calming and beautiful vibes from the band!! reeeaaalllyy awesome stage presence and wonderful wonderful sound. if you get a chance check them out.

Heard about these guys on npr. Cool and creative band and this particular piece of music truly evokes a feeling of chilling nostalgia I think they were going for. The video is entertaining too and matches the song well.

In a era where so much sound seems to be regurgitated and not even in original ways this is really refreshing. Especially as it doesn't just follow that damn chorus verse structure. It's like a story. Like modern opera.

I thought it was Danish for reverberation, but the "efter" part of it is similar to "after" so roughly translated it's suppose to be like After Reverberation. Which would essentially be an echo? Buut I could be totally wrong, I don't speak Danish or Swedish.

The song's good but I'd have thought it would evoke the extreme feel of desolation of Svalbard since they've decided that this record has something to do with the archipelago. I'm afraid Efterklang are going to do with Svalbard the same thing as Sigur Ros have been doing with Iceland.
