I didn't realise there was power splitting when two EVs use a charger.

There can be on some public DC chargers yes, but not all. It depends on the manufacturer and how the power source is setup. Tesla V2 chargers do this, but not the V3 or V4.

How topical I couldn’t charge at work had 27%. Told me I would get home with 5%. Topped up at supercharger to 40%. So my limit is20%. Except road trip 5% ok as I’m not going to leave car for hours to take advantage of off peak rates.
