This is a review for the EFX Limited Edition Darth Vader Helmet. This is the fiberglass version NOT the PCR version. Only 1000 made.

Aswang Real Stories all EFX props are made in China. That’s why they sometimes take years to actually make them. Definitely real lol

Richie Iannuzzo those Luke X-wing helmets haven't been coming up recently, and I used to see them all the time. You can post on the forums on Rebelscum.com to see if someone has one they want to sell. Other than that I would set a saved search in eBay and check everyday. That's how I got some of my stuff

Nice score man. I'm desperately trying to track down a Limited edition, since I know the Legend editions are a lot harder to find and cost an arm and a leg these days, but I've had no luck. I thought I'd go with the PCR helmet but after seeing that it was lacking in the accuracy department compared to the fiberglass helmets and looked a bit cheap looking, I wasn't sure if it was worth $300. I figured I'd try to find a Limited on eBay but the prices there are way too inflated in my opinion and I haven't had any luck on the forums either. Do you know where I might be able to find one (hopefully for a reasonable price)?

Sweet vid! What's your opinion on the new black series stormtrooper helmet? Some say its just as nice if not nicer than the efx one except for the ugly speaker on the back.

Nader Zein I don't own the black series helmets but from the pictures I've seen they look pretty good for the price. I think both the PCR EFX helmets and the black series could be pretty awesome with some mods

The KitBase this helmet is the LE fiberglass version which sold out years ago. But their PCR ones are available...but DONT order directly from EFX! They have the worst customer service. Instead, i think Sideshow collectibles started offering the PCR ones on their site. Or try Brian's Toys or Toywars

Jack Warner the A new Hope helmet was matte like this. However the empire strikes back and return of the Jedi helmets were glossy

I may be wrong, But I think my uncle has this helmet, he said many years ago when I was very young (around 4-6 years old) that when I come of age I will inherit this, I’m now 13 and I am eagerly waiting. I don’t think this is the same brand as the one he has, his is around 15-20 years old, from when I was young. I think the one he owns will now be worth a very large sum of money (not that I’m gonna sell it, I will treasure it) (if anyone bothers to read this and knows about these helmets, the one my uncle owns has orange safety glasses in place of the eye lenses, if anyone knows about the lore of this helmet, and estimated price please let me know)

Enjoyed the video. And I really like the display case cover. Sadly your girl Vickie either doesn't work there anymore or is not bothering to respond but I send her an email inquiry at the address you gave 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything back. I have been lucky enough to recently pick up a legend addition and want a good case cover for it. And on the good side of that, there's a company in town here that's a plexiglass fabricator putting one together for me now.

In the end EFX made 364 Legend Vader helmets, a very odd number, but it was their choice.

jkno oh wow I didn't know that. I wonder why they did that? I know a family member that lives in Mexico had some issues with his deposit, so they made an exception and sent him one after they sold out...but I figured it was a return or something.

I think it was because Legend Vader helmets sold out so fast and many customers who pre-ordered one remained without. EFX could have made 400 or 375, but 364 is a very strange number. The same with EFX TIE Fighter with a limited edition of 657 (could have been 650, 675, 700 etc.)

Is the plastic version lined on the inside.I ordered one at Amazon but ended up canceling the order.I do have the rubies supreme version but I find then neck to be to wide.But 300 hundred bucks for a plastic efx version is alot of money.

Jet X it's definitely worth the money just based on its lineage. Even the plastic ones are castes from the original mold.

Jet X I sent mine straight back, no base or stand, no plaque. Felt incredibly cheap and fragile, no weight to it. Not worth $300 + at all. It's like the plastic used for a tv remote or pencil case.

I just picked up the anovos darth vader helmet and was wondering where you got your helmet stands at?

I usually use $10 paper towel stands from walmart if the helmet didn't come with a stand, like the anovos helmets. I used to use $15 ikea lamps and cut the chords. By the way, did you already receive the helmet? I ordered that helmet back in 2014 and it still hasn't shipped!

Gabriel Estrada no I haven't received it yet. Bought it in November of last year. And have you contacted them? Because that's insane! I ordered the Luke Bespin costume from them and it shipped within their quarter system

Yeah all the helmets I've ordered from them have shipped quickly except for the vader and snow trooper helmets. I ordered them both in 2014, as well as the scout trooper from EFX the same year. So Ive been waiting on 3 helmets going on to 3 years. I contacted them and they only offered me a refund, or essentially wait.

I had no idea that the right tusk was intentionally weathered like that on purpose. I have the PCR version and it's just like your fiberglass version.

Stephen Lozano yeah it's definitely on purpose. That PCR is such a nice helmet! EFX sent me one because of their Biker Scout fiasco. I took pics with it next to my LE and other than a small difference in the shininess, they were identical.

Hi Gabries Estrada. Nice Video. I have a question to the coloring. Is the gunmetal a matte or a glossy finish? It is really hard to distinguish through the video. I am planing on building a Darth Vader PC and want to paint the case in the original color scheme rather than going full glossy black.

No this is the Limited. The one they are selling now is the PCR version which is plastic. This one and the Legend were fiberglass and came with the display base
