EG4 6500EX voltage fluctuations

Installed replacement EG4 6500EX inverters and that evening I had light strobe effects again. A quick check with the scope and the inverter display shows voltage fluctuation.

That is weird! Something wrong with that inverter. I dont see why folks buy the EG4 version, since the MPP version are solid. I switched over from the MPP LV6548 to the MPP LVX6048WP at my new house. I like the interface on the LV6548 better, but the PV input voltage, the AC Couple capability, and the water resistance of the LVX sold me, as they are outdoors above some existing SMA inverters.

I purchased 2 of the EG4 500VOC rated charge controllers to get around the lower PV input voltage of the LV6548. The MPP version is rock solid, I've been quite happy with the performance the clean power output. I'll have a future video out once I install the charge controllers.
