Love is a stranger In an open car To tempt you in And drive you far away And I want you And I want you And I want you so It's an obsession Love is a danger Of a different kind To take you away And leave you far behind And love love love Is a dangerous drug You have to receive it And you still can't Get enough of the stuff It's savage and it's cruel And it shines like destruction Comes in like the flood And it seems like religion It's noble and it's brutal It distorts and deranges And it wrenches you up And you're left like a zombie And I want you And I want you And I want you so It's an obsession It's guilt edged Glamorous and sleek by design You know it's jealous by nature False and unkind It's hard and restrained And it's totally cool It touches and it teases As you stumble in the debris And I want you And I want you And I want you so It's an obsession

I do want this baby to end - ASAP. Gratuitous, filthy language that make you sound like you were raised in a sewer. You have a choice. If you wish to speak like that - do it inside your own head and spare abusing the rest of our ears. People have become so desensitised to this muck - that they have, are becoming it. Muck.

My early club days. I went to the diviest LGBTQ/drag clubs. That was where they had the best music in Phoenix during the very early 80s. Dancing with the drag queens. I was teaching art at the University and ran into some of my students, lol! The shocked look on their faces!

Ein sehr schönes Lied, besonders in der langen Version. Sehr tolle Sängerin und ein großes Lob an den Komponisten Dave Steward für so eine schöne Melodie. Kann man sich immer wieder anhören.

I am not criticizing here; however, it changes the meaning of the bridge. It’s, GILT-edged...meaning it is edged in gold, gilt-edged, glamorous and sleek by design...then leaves you devastated...and it wrenches you up and you’re left like a zombie.
