This is another review of my Egate i9 Pro-Max projector full HD 1080p Projector (HD 720p native). I have shot this vid in my drawing room where I have projected on a 92 inches white screen. In the morning or daytime if you are willing to use it , I'll suggest you to cover all the windows with curtains. Also you have to keep the environment very dim or dark as much as possible whenever you are going to use it. Its a budget projector , lumens are quite decent but not enough for usage in a bright surrounding.

Which screen would be best for i9 projector , i am currently projecting on wall, but which screen will be better? There is very little ambient light in my room in day... And what's better, black, white lr gray screen?

See if you are planning to buy any budget projector, white screen is the most suited one as the reflectiveness is the best for which the clarity will get a bit enhanced. Its true it ll also reflect any other ambient light but as u mentioned theres very little ambient light in your room, i feel white is the best. Grey and black screens are particularly required when the room or the area of the projection always stays moderately bright and is very hard to cover up. Grey and black are also required to sharpen the contrast i.e brightening up the whites and deepening the blacks of a media. But for budget projectors i feel most priority should be given to the Brightness/Colour reproduction and reflection. So go for white. In my opinion Inlight screens are quite decent on a budget. @@udayjha9675 earlier I was using a screen but recently I got my house painted, so I got the wall that is in front of the projector painted white with a very fine and smooth paint and stopped using the screen. Honestly there is no difference now. The only downside of wall is that if there is even a single mark on it in the future, it will spoil the projection. Otherwise no such difference.

Agr room mein bohut saare unwanted ambient lights ho toh hi Alr consider karna chahiye but normal screen se expensive aate hai. Ghar ke liye basic white screen is always sufficient. Agr budget hai toh you can consider an ALR screen. ALR is better than most of the screens as it multiplies the reflection of light.

Go for egate products as the service is quite decent for the brand as far as I have heard. Also the specs are pretty much the same or slightly better for egate i9 pro max. My experience has been very good over the past 2 years.

Nehi sir isme aap phone connect nehi kar sakte. Uske liye android ya miracast variant lena parega. Hain aap daily use kar sakte ho. Sirf dekhne k baad thoda cloth se clean kar lena side mein jo fan grill hai as fan chalne se dust attract karti hai.

hi bro... hope this projector is still running smooth and fine. i have a doubt. how do you protect your projector from dust. heard that dust will accumulate to form dark spots in the screen... did you encounter such one

Yes its working totally fine, going to be almost 3 years. Yeah you have to wipe it every other day as dust accumulates specially due to the fan inside. There's not a lot to do in my opinion other than that. Yeah once in an year or six months u may go to any nearby local electronics service shop for a proper cleaning.

Yeah a dark spot had formed but there is an easy way to fix it. There is an opening underneath ..behind the brand sticker which u can carefully open turning it upside down. Take an earbud, and wipe it out, keeping the projector on. Its actually easier done than said.

Yes i guess its the correct choice. Xelectron c9 is also a decent product in terms of specs as it has got 3800 lumens but in terms of brand and service I will show slight preference to egate.

Yes Sure..These are my following projector settings- Contrast:60 Brightness:58 Colour:70 Sharpness:50 Colour Temperature: Red-50 Green-50 and Blue-50 X Axis Zoom: 20 Y Axis Zoom : 20 I have shot the video demonstrating 1080p content, anything with a lower resolution will look slightly pixelated owing to the big stretched screen. Also while adjusting the lamp focus ring on top , rotate it slowly to figure out the best focus at all parts of the screen.

It is not recommended..If there is slight daylight or a dim bulb its fine, but it bright condition, you wont be able to enjoy. Better to keep the environment dark.

I wont recommended that as the length and breadth will be completely distorted..it will form a trapezium. Keeping it perpendicular or at least closer to 90° is highly advised.

Thank you brother..😊..Xelectron C9 is better in my opinion as it has got more lumens so will result in much more brightness and vibrance. It also has 4d keystone correction. But in general its more expensive than the Egate i9 pro max. If your budget is more go for Xelectron C9.

Yes technically a grey screen can be used but I would always prefer a white screen due to its brightness enhancing feature. A grey screen will boost the contrast but Im not sure how much brightness will be enhanced or maintained for this budget projector.

10 feet minimim distance se clarity bohut badhiya lagta hai..agar thoda samne se bhi aap dekhte ho toh bhi zyada pixelation nehi dikhayi deta. Less than 5-6 feet hua toh phir halka pexels dikhta hai. (1080p HD content k liye bol raha hyun, agar kam resolution hua toh phir pexels diyayi degi)

Under 10k you ll be getting projectors of more or less the same specs as this one. But if you can increase your budget slightly you should go for Xelectron C9 Miracast which comes with a price tag of 10990 and has 3800 lumens ,so will result in more brightness and vibrance. There are a few more like Everycom X8 (Rs 10999) and EG 6X (Rs 8990), both having 3200 lumens but my bet will be Xelectron C9 Miracast. Im not an expert but as per your requirement its justified.

720p is just HD brother. 1080p is full hd. Yes I have played 720p videos, the quality seems to be fine but you have to watch it from a certain distance, if you are very near to the screen , you will notice slight pixelation. But in general its quite fine, if you are willing to watch 720p content keep the screen size max at 70-75 inches.

Tata sky HD channels have a resolution of 1080p so itll look very crisp and nice. I have Airtel HD, so its the same. Hopefully you will have a good experience, just setup the projector properly first by adjusting the focus ring and keystone. All the best.

Grey screen k bare mein utna idea nehi hai aur online bhi accha koi available nehi hai aur agr hua bhi toh bohut zyada hi mehnga hai than white. I use white personally. Zoom in aur zoom out bohut hi easy hai bro. X aur Y axis ko jitna aap increase karoge utna zyada hi zoom hoga. Agr zoom krne ki zaroorat na bhi ho toh bhi ill suggest thoda zoom kr lijiye phir corners mein blur nehi hoga ya kam hoga. Main try karunga ek video banane ko.

I normally use my laptop and firestick, its absolutely lag free. Yes you can paint it but i guess purchasing a screen can be a better idea as you can pull it down whenever its necessary , also the vibrance and picture quality really looks crisp on a screen. Egate i9 pro max is really worth the bucks but you can also check the xelectron c9 basic version, it costs like 1-1.5k more but has 3800 lumens .
