Hi. I really do appreciate your videos. You do a very nice job explaining everything. I have been away from xplane for a bit due to having an older rig and fps so low, couldn't operate the sim. I finally upgraded and built a new rig with an amd ryzen 7 7800 x3d and a Radeon RX 7800 XT. I'm new to amd. I'm getting a lot of texture shimmers, glistening, sparkling etc especially on trees. I was wondering if you had that problem and know a fix for it. I'm running the in sim settings on max except the anti alliasing setting is down one notch from max and the new one is set to 50%. Does your gpu use adrenalin software and can you share your gpu setting or suggest what works best for you?

Thank you for the kind words. My only trick with AMD is to find a driver that works and stick with it as long as possible. It just does not work like NVidia so this is one way to protect yourself. Next is to enable Zink in XP12 and then to find your happy place with the settings. Other than that it is real difficult to use AMD graphics with X Plane. These are my settings in the AMD software, I don't use much of it. prnt.sc/ThyFJU1KNTfS

Thanks again for doing this. I'm surprised you have your cloud settings all the way down. Is that because you use active sky?

@@rcburse112 you are welcome, it is actually due to xEnviro, you do not need XP settings as it uses its own clouds. I just forget to reset it for AS XPX12
