Ingredients:
Dosa Batter
Egg
Ghee
Salt
Pepper
Onions
Coriander Leaves
To Make Spicy Garlic Chutney
Red Chilli - 20 Nos
Garlic - 12 Cloves
Shallots - 15 Nos
Rock Salt - 1 Tsp
Tamarind
Water
For Tempering
Oil - 3 Tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
METHOD:
1. Take soaked red chillies, garlic, shallots, rock salt, tamarind, soaked red chilli water in a mixer jar and grind to fine paste by adding a little water if required. Keep it aside.
2. Take oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, saute.
3. Add the ground onion paste, saute for 2-3 mins. Spicy Garlic Chutney is ready.
4. Whisk a few eggs and keep aside.
5. Make dosas on a hot tawa and add ghee on the edges.
6. Apply the spicy chutney on the dosa and pour the whisked eggs.
7. Sprinkle some salt, pepper powder, finely chopped onions, coriander leaves, ghee and flip the dosa.
8. Roast the dosa on the other side as well and serve it hot by cutting it into two halves or as desired.
9. Tasty Egg Dosa is ready to be served hot with any chutney of your choice by the side.
Kara Muttai Dosa / Spicy Egg Dosa is an exotic tiffin recipe which has many elements that add up to a unique taste.
