Ingredients
Rice: 1 cup
Eggs: 4
★ Mirin: 2 tablespoons
★ Soy sauce: 4 tablespoons
〇 Sake: 2 tablespoons
〇 Mirin: 2 tablespoons
〇 Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
〇 Sugar: 2 teaspoons
〇 Grated garlic: 1 teaspoon
Beef: 400g
Sesame oil: a little
Instructions
1 Place 4 eggs in the freezer overnight.
2 Rinse the frozen eggs under running water and peel off the shells.
3 Place the peeled eggs in the refrigerator overnight to thaw.
4 Remove only the egg yolks from the thawed eggs.
5 In a container, combine 2 tablespoons of mirin and 4 tablespoons of soy sauce. Soak the egg yolks in this mixture and refrigerate overnight to let the flavors soak in.
6 Fill the rice ball mold halfway with cooked rice, leaving a hollow space in the center.
7 Place the marinated egg yolks in the center and cover them with rice.
8 Shape the rice balls.
9 Wrap the rice balls with thinly sliced ​​meat.
10 Prepare the sauce mixture: 2 tablespoons of sake, 2 tablespoons of mirin, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of grated garlic, and 2 teaspoons of sugar. Combine well.
11 Heat a frying pan with sesame oil.
12 Fry the rice balls, cooking all 5 sides carefully.
13 Add the prepared sauce mixture to the frying pan and simmer until thickened. Your egg yolk-stuffed meat-wrapped onigiri is now ready to serve.
