One of the manufacturers of almost ready to fly RC planes, provides with their kits a clear vacuum molded cowl, that fits over the painted fiberglass cowl. That way you could see where to drill and cut openings in the clear cowl then transfer them to the fiberglass one. Have you ever thought of something like that for, what we in the RC community refer to "full scale" planes?

Never been an issue. Seems as though it could happen but no.

How do the quality of the engine design and internal components of this engine and the 140 turbo gm measure up to the honda engines? What are the hoped for tbo or replacement hr intervals for the auto conversions, 1000-1500 or more?

The engines are identical to the car engines and have a 2,000 hr TBO
