Yeah I thought of this idea as well, if it gets countered you lose but if they don't counter it then it's likely they don't have the counter at all and you possibly win instead of lose. We play chant so often as a thought seize you forget it can be a kind of crappy two mana time walk.

When I used to play this back in the day, one of the big things was trying to reshape Chromatic Star if possible since you get a bonus draw out of it. I like that it has the same interaction with Beseech. Also I really like citadel in the deck, felt like it would be just too hard to win in time otherwise. Great video, thank you.

Im so happy you posted this!!!!!!!! eggs is back and its so much fun!!! your list is so close to my list that ive been playing around with locals. I've been playing an exploration map, ghost quarter, and a codex shredder over the 4th whir, 4th reshape, and the steam vents. I have been swapping my otawara/colleseum numbers back and forth. Somedays i want a wish over the bolas's citadel. My sideboard is completly different. Thank you for the great league.

Eggs is also my pet deck. A few questions. I prefer Altar of the Brood rather than Pyrite Spellbomb. Milling out an opponent is less tedious than looping the spellbomb 10 times. Do you see a benefit to the spellbomb over the Altar? Note: Altar requires the deck to be about looping Faith's Reward, which you poo-poo at the end of the video. 32:50 Why fetch lands instead of Ghost Quarter? Ghost Quarters loop with Faith's Reward, eating a tapped island, both of which come back, and don't eat into the life total that we normally can't afford to spare. What are your thoughts on a sideboard Wonder to give our constructs flying? You're using Invasion islands. If you use the backside of the Jurassic Park island it kinda looks like the Mosasaurus is eating an egg!

Here are my thoughts (as the guy who submitted the deck): Pyrite spellbomb has more flexibility in terms of cracking it to draw or be able to remove a pesky creature such as bowmasters or dauthi. Though I love ghost quarter, we are playing 8 cards with at least UU casting requirements. Ghost quarter would make this deck more "all in" when we wouldn't have to be. Wonder imo is just strictly worse than shadowspear-no way to tutor it OR get it in the bin reliably. As for invasion basics---Bryant is wrong, Odyssey basics are the correct ones.

I've used this list with Artificers Assistant, Mystic Forge and a few Artifact reducing cards (Key, etc) with 1 Aetherflux as wincon. Very explosive and can win the moment Forge is dropped.
