Bex is at the start of her schizophrenia diagnosis as she attends therapy sessions to navigate her grief following the death of her boyfriend. Due to recent signs of improvement, her therapist assigns her the task of writing a goodbye letter to Noah, aiming to help her process her emotions. However, the letter reveals her fragmented memories and the struggle between acceptance and denial, proving she still believes they argued one night and he left her as opposed to the reality that he died over a year ago. In contrast to the reality that he passed away, the letter shows her jumbled recollections, fragmented memories and the struggle between acceptance and denial. Proving that she still believes they argued one night, and he simply left her.
