Not the only thing , kills does not mean high rank , yea he’s good but I a silver player play better and the lobbies I play in have players this good. He’s an average gold. I frag 25-30 kills 90% of my games but I know I don’t deserve gold because kills down not make me better I should learn to play with my team and I’m working on it 😅

​@@personal4775 . Not to be that guy, but you should be higher rank if you average 25 to 30 kills a game. If you're not lying, your problem is purely "Impact" related. You must be getting most of your kills after your teammates die. Hence your kills not helping the team taking a site, or gain map advantage. With this said, even with consistent high kills, you can't win every game. Rank system doesn't work that way. You will always have teammates you can't carry.

@@roko98332r but here’s the thing, chamber is an agent just for picks, and his acs was very low and based on watching the whole map, he had very little impact on his team, his kills felt meaningless, Reyna could help with actual entry or lurking and her util is a little better, but I think the way he plays sets him up to get a pick or two without actually affecting the outcome of any round.

I'm not going to lie as a viper main their fill viper on pearl actually tilted me a little lol, Honestly though I think they just need to ads less even with the guardian especially when peaking and they move too much while holding, especially in off angles. (and honestly filling onto agents that require prep that they obviously have none on is hurting their rank a good bit in my opinion)

My only consolation is my HS% - it has consistently risen over the Acts and seems to be the only sign of my having improved in finding favourable duels, raw aim, crosshair placement, utility usage, positioning and basically every aspect of Valorant.

On attack, everyone should be aware of potential flank but one person should be ready to take down the common flanker from the enemy team... On defence, at least one player should hold site and not give up too much space for the enemy team... If someone lurks, the player holding site can be aware of them... if enemy team rushes, the others have enough info to rotate while the player holding site could try to slow the rushes

Trust me i have always been better at valorant but i have been hardstuck gold since ep1 act 1. High silver to high gold used to be my threshold except for the one act where i played with a couple of my friends and bcoz of our synergy i touched diamond and after reset i was back in gold. But recently i have ranked up from gold to diamond 2 just by filling in. Pick 1 or 2 agents per category and figure a playstyle for yourself and stick to it. Omen is really good for gold and plat lobby bcoz u can be sneaky and lurking and still smoke for your team and be impactful. I used to be a duelist main back in the days. I would frag out every game but i would still lose bcoz the people on the support agents wont be comfortable with the agent and would such. But u cant blame when u instalock duelist. This is a detailed trick and advice for my fellow cracked golds

Headshot rate doesn't mean much. For instance that Marshal only Jett probably has a higher head shot % than most... because he's only going for headshots. But headshots just kill faster, what matters most is getting the kill. Headshots and flicking is required in tough situations but overall it's not important. Aim is secondary to crosshair placement and holding proper angles.

Not an intrinsically bad thing - ads'ing on the Guardian reduces almost all possible bullet spread RNG so there's no excuse for you missing a shot except for 1. You suck 2. The Opponent has really good movement. That being said this guy ads'ing within 15m was hurting my eyes - you are literally making your opponent move faster on your screen at a distant where inherent bullet spread has no effect on whether your shot connects

See on high elos aim and kills barely matters, all matters is game sense and team work. See in low elos imagine your team having 15-20 kills and u stuck on 10 the amount of toxicity u get is insane but in high elos everyone knows you have aim and all thats why you are in that rank, and also maybe u are just having a bad game so its very rare seeing someone criticising for aim, even my self it can be like one game i fully carry my team with math mvp and next game i might not be able to cross 10 kills so thats the thing with high elos

As long as you provide for the team, then you're doing fine. People in low elo think that aim = high rank, when in reality aim can only get you to like gold (maybe plat) max, as seen in this video and many others I've watched. High elo is all about teamwork and game sense. Movement, util usage, map awareness, comms etc. I'm not saying that aim isn't important, everything is, but it's not the main factor. I have a 20% something HS rate and I'm ascendant, but I also play sentinels and initiators the most. Most of the time I have more assists than kills and if I pick up Jett or Raze for example, I usually get 20+ kills because that's how duelists are. There's a reason there's 4 roles and each one should be played correctly! When I see duelists that don't enter or sentinels that don't use utils to hold site, but instead they push like monkeys, it annoys me. It's like my pet peeve LOL. Either way, in higher elo, most people don't care if you have 5 kills as long as your utils and comms help the team, that leads to a wins. Teamwork and Game sense > Aim.

It's 100% true that HS% doesn't matter that much. I'm bronze 2 and recently had a 1.2kdr and a 21% HS. Regardless, I'm still bronze 2. My aim is ok sometimes and it a boosts my stats artificially. I still only have a 50% win rate in bronze, and that's why I'm still in bronze.
