Bronze player here, learning the game. I've been told that comming exactly what you're doing, when you're doing it, and what direction you got shot from/died from generally is supposed to help with winning the game. However, I've learned that people down in low elo are either deaf or headphoneless, directionally challenged, or incapable of comming anything at all. Even with clear instructions, people just don't follow up. And that's so frustrating, especially in a game where in-game VCs are a feature. Even if you at least type in chat, it's better than saying nothing at all. I'd like other povs on this, since apparently this problem extends into high elo lobbies as well.

btw, i noticed this with a lot of Silver/Gold "This Silver Initiator Main Say- so on." They match mvp their games but it sometimes will be postplant/postdefuse kills and they match mvp because of it so yeah, take that in mind.

While you can get by with no mic in lower elo, one you hit platinum, maybe even gold, communicating pre round plays, and comms in general become a necessity to rank up. Even if you think your team doesn't listen. And pre round comm doesn't count if you just say "hey lets rush A"

When your teammates don’t comm, it makes you require much of your own capability to multitask. When I play my utility and strats are top notch but when it comes to gunfights i just can’t land headshots, since i’m always glancing at the map and keeping notes of stuff that usually teammates would remind/tell you.

Watching this video and about half way through I realized. He doesn’t seem to realize that he is playing with higher elo players in the first split game so he is really jittery cause he might feel that he can’t trust his team to watch angles so he might feel the need to check all angles. I’m a solo comp player and this is really what it’s like in silver, you have to play all the angles you can because your team can’t be trusted most of the time.

Most high elo players tend to be around 200-400 eDPI (DPI x Sens). Large variety of high DPI but low sens and low DPI but high Sens. Anything above 600 is questionable tho xd (In Valorant)

another case of silvers and other sub plat ranks believing they deserve a higher rank even though its their own fault they lose games, if i let my whole team die during the round and now i have to 1v5 and i kill 4/5 of the enemy and lose the round, ill match mvp with the most kills, yet ive clutched nothing and commed nothing, kills mean absolutely nothing if you dont win the round. unless like that one tcg game hwere they lost the round on defense on split, but they killed everyone on exit aeway from the spike explosion to ruin their econ.. i went from silver 2 hardstuck in 2 acts, then moved to diamond for 2 acts then plateaued in ascendant 1.
