Victor Sylvester, who wrote "Modern Ballroom Dancing" (the book) says that it is acceptable to do a slight body inclination on the Reverse Turn, but make it only that and no more if you opt into it. Without the body inclinations in the Reverse Turn - it is okay also. You only do the strong body inclinations in the advanced form of the Reverse Turn called the Reverse Roll.

The technique of "man crosses on the 1st half of the Reverse Turn, and the uncross on the 2nd half, while the lady uncrosses on the 1st half of the turn, and crosses on the 2nd half" - this is known as the Viennese Cross. (This reminds me of the Walter Laird technique.)

Yay! Fun! Acoustics hollow, of course, but the core was good, encouraging, and class--OMG, Eglis even laughed for a change!--had fun. Should be more joking and so on. BY THE WAY--just how rigid a form must we hold to in this exciting dance?
@EgilsSmagris6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Rand for appreciating this video. About your question: hold should be controlled but elastic, important also to be in balance.

Prayer request here! Jesus hears! God hears. Humble yourself before Him and seek Him trusting what He did for us in coming in flesh to take the punishment for our sins and rising in the power of God the Father defeating death and sin! He has done so much more like creating us even though He knew we would fail, and He knew He would have to Give His ONLY Begotten Son Jesus, Jesus knew too as They are One! That is amazing, repent and trust Him, believe Jesus, He wants you even if you don’t want Him, but olease dont let you sin keep you from Him, i pray the Holy Spirit ignite in you
