I don't pull for only one gender, but I do lean towards husbandos more because I think for whatever reason, the men are written better in Hoyo games. It doesn't feel right to pull a character because I think they're hot. Like design does play a role to some extent, but I'm not downbad, if that makes sense? Maybe that's why I'm not interested in characters like Kafka or Jade because regardless of their stories, the whole "mommy" persona they have feels too try hard for my liking. No hate to people who do like those characters though, they're just not my taste. That's the thing about most gacha games though. There's usually some kind of characters people like and some that people don't. And that's perfectly fine.

Finally, someone who gets me. Not the same game, but that's the reason I pulled for Yanagi in ZZZ. She is an actual caring adoptive mother to a child, and I think that's a cool subversion to the "mommy" treatment most women of her body type get. That's also the reason why I skipped Jane Doe, her whole character was just too much (especially the demo video). I liked her look, but the personality and the way she was marketed made me rethink if I even want her
