I’ve been using this and The Test, aka 10-10-10 a lot in my practice. Been starting sessions with a cold Five Yard Roundup. Great low round count cold assessment.

I wish I had a red dot for my pistol to be able to do the drill. I honestly cannot afford a red dot to go on my pistol

It can also be done with iron sights. I run it with irons a lot because I don’t carry dot guns on duty at all, and rarely off duty. Don’t let not having a dot stop you from working this drill and the involved skills.

Great advice to Mr. Short! Yes, run it with your irons - your practice is your practice. The more you test and challenge yourself, the more you will understand what it is important to you and what you want to work on.

@@LangdonTactical I like the drill and can run it with the Irons, I just would like a red dot for my pistol, at 50yr old my eyes are not what the used to be, I run dot sights on my AR- and it seems my eyes prefer a red dot over irons now day I used to love iron till my eyes started going bad never even had to wear reading glasses till about a year ago.
