Got an old slightly beat up seasoned px4 compact in .40 in a trade a couple of years ago, use it as the home defense handgun while the good stuff lives in a safe. Shoots very well for the caliber and goes bang. It's my abuse gun but continues to just keep going.

Since the 40 caliber barrel bored to a 9mm noticeably smooths out the recoil, then why not try the 45 caliber barrel bored to a 9mm? Do you think the recoil would be smoothed out even more?

This version doesn't require removing the heat shield to clean the barrel and the carrier assembly. I assume the Zhukov version doesn't have that luxury and needs to be completely disassembled to clean?

Problem with glass breakers is 2 fold. Starting about 3 years ago side window auto glass went to laminated glass like windshields. It needs to be peeled out. Glass breakers far less effective. When you do use one make SURE you strike or punch it into a corner of the window not the center. Hopefully there are instructions with it. Seat belt cutter integrated into it is good.

One of the challenges I'm having is light mounting; I have a couple but need either a MLOK forend (Brilley is nice but expensive) or run a Zhukov with your heat shield/cable management system (not a huge fan of the GG&G heat shield due to no cable management). Slight disagree about a sling for HD (because you should always have a way to carry it if you need to transition to another weapon or use both hands for another task). Looking forward to the next in the series.
