Thanks for the video! I'm glad you understand what segment this falls in & which amps to compare with, especially a Bugera. It's difficult to find comparisons in budget categories.

Harmony hunter the wood on that Egnater is Birch my friend. A very good wood to use, high end drums are made with Birch such as the Gretches. I am getting the Rebel model.

You can put a huge array of diff tubes in this , which additionally changes the base sound.The speaker option for 4, 8, or 16 ohms is also key, - the speaker / cab arrangement, - again, with two outputs, - is vital. The "Vox" mode is the only EQ I find unconvincing, - but then, they do use a different power section( after all).The Fender can be made nicely scooped and jangly , but it lends itself more to the older models; the Marshall adds a ton of low end, and decent 45 grind.If you want modern sounds, they're easily there, but it took some fussing with tubes and speakers to get the more vintage sounds to my liking.At home, the 15 watts assure not going much beyond 3, but cranked, it's plenty articulate at volume.Outstanding pedal platform, complete with effects loop( which I rarely use). For some reason, it matches well( couple vids here testify) with the grossly overspeced Eminence("12) Swamp Thing, though I do also frequently use a Emi Legend 2-"10 as well.

@Chris Janisch Hey Jerk, This isn't entertainment for you to demand better playing. It takes effort to put a video up on youtube, thank the guy for it & then say something about it. NO, you do not need chops to review anything. A review is your judgement & take on it. You don't even need to play. Just like you don't need to be a musician to judge some music. The fact that he understands amps & has experience with this one, I'm good. I'd rather listen to his opinion on it than listen to a multi layer compressed sound. I mic' my amp at home & I don't care what the video sounds like.

Not necessarily; Keith Howland of the band Chicago uses egnaters, even the rebel 20 on stage.

I find it funny you tried to replace a blackstar HT with a blackstar HT copy.

Is it really a HT copy??

Hi, is it really an amp for home use? Can you play late at night with children sleeping?
@Cheguebuddha5 жыл бұрын
Juanma c yes you can if 2 rooms away from them. I do it all the time but need to drive the amp with an overdrive pedal to get it break up.

May I ask why oh why would you add pedals into a demo on an amp sound?
@HarmonyHunter7 жыл бұрын
thegreatcerebral I think some people may be interested in hearing how amps respond to overdrive. They would probably be more interested if I knew how to play guitar.
@thegreatcerebral7 жыл бұрын
Yes but you didn't give a unhindered signal example. You went right into reverb and then on the dirty side you went in with boost. So I agree that they want to hear how it sounds but you need to give a baseline tone.
@HarmonyHunter7 жыл бұрын
thegreatcerebral hmm it's been awhile since I did this one maybe I should look at this. I will say though I don't think this amp has a pristine clean and I wouldn't consider reverb as tone altering as most people would not play without reverb. but your right I should take a look at this. I actually don't have the Tweaker 15 anymore and I only have the Tweaker 40 combo now so I should revisit this.
@jamesk16197 жыл бұрын
What do you think of the 40 compared to the 15? Are you still using the 40 at home levels?
@chrisjanisch33355 жыл бұрын
Sorry but your review was okay until you started playing. No offense but if you’re going to review you gotta have chops.
