bro do you realise how good you are at teaching and playing? this is actually one of the best guitar tutorials that i've come across
@theremnant2162 жыл бұрын
This was really incredible. Thank you for going so slow and then playing each section at normal speed. This helped tremendously. Also, it's hilarious that you actually call them boomer bends lol
@WxYMusic2 жыл бұрын
Haha glad you enjoyed it, and glad that I’ve managed to help a fellow guitarist! Keep playing! Boomer bends are my fav haha

Man after trying to learn this for about a week, I can get through the first 6 parts no problem. Up until I try to play along with the song and realize I'm like 60% slower even as fast as I can go 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That just makes me respect your cover even more. Their speed is next level and I didn't really grasp it until I learned some of it and tried to keep up.

Haha keep going at it! I’m sure you’ll get better and better. I find the KZbin play speed function very helpful

I could be wrong, but at 1:54 I think you are missing 5th Fret to 3rd Fret on 4th string. At 2:15 you mention to do 5th Fret to 7th Fret on 4th string twice, but you only touch the 7th Fret once in the playthrough right after. I think maybe you might have lost track of where to cut the part, and meant for the first 5th Fret to 7th Fret on 4th string to actually be a 5th Fret to 3rd Fret?

Part 9 is confusing me. The lick you're playing seems longer than what you play in your cover video and it's confusing me as to how it fits in rhythmically. A couple suggestions for future videos would be to 1. Demonstrate the entire solo either at the beginning or end of the video and 2. Demonstrate some larger chunks as you move through the lesson. Like playing parts 8-10 together. I still really appreciate you putting in the time and effort to do this video for us though. Another thing, your cover video is uploaded as a Short. If you could upload it as a normal video that would allow us to slow it down to try to figure some of these things out ourselves.
