Great video! I went for the Ego…10/10. It has really impressed me. Motorcycle manufacturer build quality and amazing capability. It is basically an electric pit bike

I agree 100%, but if you want to ride cheap the Green Works isn’t a bad option. Thanks for watching!

Great video, I can’t wait for the follow up, hopefully it’s coming soon! Would like to see a couple of races between the two bikes, to see power off the line and over maybe 100 yards. Would also like to see hill, climbs, and how the suspension Handles different terrain. Would also like to see comparison of mileage/runtime on different terrains oh shit at different speeds

Filming this week, sorry for the delay. My Dad passed away and we’ve been mourning. Thanks for watching!

@ Oh man, I’m so sorry to hear that. I lost my grandfather earlier this year and it has been tough. I hope you and your family are doing ok,

I just brought home the Greenworks mini bike. Interested to find out how long the batteries last. I know with the Greenworks gokart the batteries don't last a long as represented in the literature
@Fix-it-tonyАй бұрын
I’m finding they last about 1 mile per amp hour of capacity with normal use. So about 16 miles, but with heavy use with lots of trials and hills only getting about 8 miles out of them. Thanks for watching!

Also, just saw Greenworks offers an 80v model. Same top speed but 27 mile range. Thoughts?

A bigger bike, but worth checking out. Looking to borrow one to compare. Thanks for watching!

Quality matters to me, I am done going cheap to save a buck to sacrifice quality, no quality, no deal :)

I agree, the more I ride the two bikes, the more I notice how much better of a bike the Ego is. Thanks for watching!

Please compare the seat heights and comfort on your full comparison. Thx

Can you tell me more about the higher mileage Ego? Does it also have more power?
@Fix-it-tony2 ай бұрын
It’s literally a higher mileage bike, sorry for not explaining. It has 500 miles on it and this one in the video is new with less than 100 miles. The range is determined by the batteries you buy. The kit comes with two 7.5 amp hour batteries and a charger for $2300. Or you can buy just the bike for $1300 and two 12 amp hour batteries with a charger for another $1200, so about $200 more than the kit, but 9 more amp hour of capacity. Each amp hour of capacity gives you at least 1 mile of range. So two 12 amp hour batteries give you 24 total amp hours of power and at least 24 miles of range. The top speed doesn’t change at 28 mph even with the higher amp hour batteries though. Thanks for watching!

do both bikes do good on ramps/jumps?
@Fix-it-tony2 ай бұрын
I would not recommend it, jumping off little jumps and curbs at most. Thanks for watching!

Would like to see a 100 meter drag race. Also, some hill climb competition. Maybe some lap times around a short trail loop in a woods with some technical terrain. Definitely compare suspension s. I have the greenworks and its a ton of fun on my woods loop and thinking about getting a second bike for friends to join me... ego or greenworks, let the fun begin! A side by side range test would be good too. Can the ego's smaller batteries provide more or less range?

I like your ideas, coming soon! Thanks for watching!

Which one is easier to change the rear tire on ? Ego is so Complicated To change !
@Fix-it-tony2 ай бұрын
Ego is a lot more involved, I have a video on how to do it. I’m going to splice the harness with a quick disconnect to make it easier. Thanks for watching!
@longislandairgunner16002 ай бұрын
If you already have batteries for a lot of the other ego equipment, you can buy the Ego mini bike for $1,300 without the batteries. Now that’s a bargain better than Greenworks.
@Fix-it-tony2 ай бұрын
Absolutely, if you are already in the Ego battery ecosystem it’s the better option. Thanks for watching!

Ego batteries are more expensive per amp hour@@Fix-it-tony
@TheDwightMambaАй бұрын
Yes, but you better have some big batteries. Anything below newer 7.5 Amp batteries will be both disappointing for range and really hard on their longevity.
@WillBlock-n9jАй бұрын
@@TheDwightMamba the greeenworks comes with 2 HIgh output *amh batteris We have multiple 200-250lbs riders keeping up with all our other motroized quads, dirt bikes and side by sides for over a year and a half its been a great machine

All the videos on the EGO is from ppl that live in "flat" neighborhoods. The streets, yards even the off road trails is all flat terrain. My point(question) is how well does the EGO do in hilly to steep terrain? How much does it bog down when compared to riding on all flat trails and backyards and such? The same could be asked of the Greenworks.
@Fix-it-tonyАй бұрын
Doing a test review of both bikes with a 6 and 8% grade, stay tuned. Thanks for watching!
@TheDwightMambaАй бұрын
If you need hill climb power out of either, both will need a smaller tire.
@Hot.Rod0311Ай бұрын
Im skeptical. I have an EGO lawnmower & it’s supposed to mow one whole acre. Needless to say it doesn’t, maybe 2/3 of an acre before it dies out.
@Fix-it-tonyАй бұрын
What AH batteries are you running? Rule of thumb for this bike is 1 mile per AH, so 15 ah is a minimum of 15 miles of range. Thanks for watching!

Definitely for 12 or older, thanks for watching!

These are both pretty cool bikes, but more big toys than anything in my opinion. For the price point, they are way too slow. 30-35mph would make more sense
@Fix-it-tony2 ай бұрын
You’d be amazed how many people crash these bikes at just 28 mph. Check my other videos, but you can mod these bikes up to 45 mph with a new controller. I don’t recommend it, brakes are not strong enough and size makes the bike hard to control at that speed. Thanks for watching!
@mimic2495Ай бұрын
@@Fix-it-tonycan you do a tutorial?
@TheDwightMambaАй бұрын
Please show me in the eBike world where $2K gets 30-35 MPH with build quality and finish like the EGO.
@deklinstanelle9345Ай бұрын
@TheDwightMamba guy literally just mentioned that the brakes weren't very good lmao. There's nothing fancy about the ego, it isn't put together any better than any of these other Chinese bikes imported en masse. There's literally TONS of bikes within the $2-$3k range that blow this outta the park. I'd just get a freego X2 over this personally, but honestly do your research. These ego bikes are just like any other Chinese imported ebike. Nothing special
@Fix-it-tonyАй бұрын
@@deklinstanelle9345there is a big difference in quality the Ego is superior. The reason these bikes are a good buy is you can ride them anywhere and not get pulled over. I’ve ridden these at several beaches and camp grounds, not one issue. Now take a surron on the street and be prepared to be pulled over.
