My brand new ego s2 snapped in two at the joint between the pole and the hoop the very 1st time I used it to land a salmon, terrible quality.

... The older (original) nets, painters poles threads did work. Now that EGO has caught on, realizing that customers were buying the net and using a painters pole handle, they changed the shaft/thread diameter size so that is no longer possible. Since doing that video my handle broke too. I ended up buying another handle but still I wasn’t happy it broke.

travis lewin what broke on mine was the thin metal piece inside the handle that allows the extend and retract part.

@@haulinashoutdoors2675 mine did to like the rivet I fixed it with some strong adhesive we use on RVs then it broke where you screw it on the net I was done after that
