eGo-T battery gone bad : doesn't charge nor vapes
Multimeter was used to demonstrate.

the outer shell that houses the battery can be pulled off of the switch and connector assembly, so it CAN be taken apart. I've had them come apart in my pocket MANY times

Why can't they just make a reliable ecig that doesn't cost $100-200? It's like they specifically design them to break.

not that I know of . because the case must be opened in order to replace the li-ion cell . but if you can rip open the case, than you could , somehow, use the connector and switch with a new cell. The voltage has to be tweaked a bit to 3.2V - 3.8V range.

actually, joytech has other color options on their LED's. I still have my first ego T battery from my old CE4 Starter kit and it has a BLUE LED, and yes folks, is ego branded

The + contact is pushed in so far that the charger cannot reach it so is the atomizers :)

hmm thats weird i got mine of the joytech website and it can be orange in unregulated mode. White full charge, blue dying.

my battery isnt working, like, when i charge it, i only have the USB to plug into the computer, and when i plug it in, it lights up blue for awhile but when i ake it off the charger to turn it on and click 5 times it doesnt turn on

Hi Jade. 1). You need 2 to cycle chrage-use 2). They can recover sometimes. I found that after they "rested" , considered dead for few days than when I gave it last try before the trash - it worked. 3). its at best a warning sign. You should look for a solution that uses regular Li-Ion battery with a bottom that is pressed for contact. its a much simpler and thus long lasting design. The screw part usually fits the tank part just fine. lots of e-cigs intro clips around. good luck

what do you mean rest? like off the charger? I went to a stand that's in the mall by where I live and what they did was put it on the charger and they were able to turn it on and off, so I bought the same charger that they had used and it was able to charge but as soon I took off the charger for 5-6 hours, and I tried to click it 5 times but as soon as I pressed it one time it started blinking 10 times I believe. I tried to my cousin to fix it because he knows about vapes as well but as soon as he tried to press the button, it just total stopped working, but it blinks blue when I charge it. Im not sure if I have a better bet of buying a whole knew battery.

Jade Phommarinh there's the li-ion cell and an electronics control board in this battery. either the cell is "spent" or something with the control board. but there are just small number of actions to try, not many. so draw a table on paper or list the options. all I said was: rest -no charger , for a day or 2 , i would go with device that takes 18650 li-ion cell because these solutions ( other sizes of li-ion cells but 18650 is most common) are built simple and thus work longer (you take the cell out to recharge) that e-cig stand should have such

I´m sorry, the batterys are FAKE (not Joytech) the real ones lights up white, fakes lights up blue.
