repair ego battery

From what you write has probably moved the plate from the correct position. Try to open the battery and insert the board into place. The buttons should be just below from the transparent plastic

basicly it will light up if pusshed only if the other part (not the battery) is unscrewed .. if you hook it up it will turn on for a half of sec and the light will turn off

As long as it broke off at the battery end, you're fine, If it broke off at the other end tho, you could risk a shortcircuit, rapidly discharging battery, also possibly breaking your charger and in the worst case make the battery explode.

Possibly there is some epoxy glue that hold the plastic . Try to warm with something (lighter - torch , not too much) the base of the ego connector. Then try with a litle screw driver to push the plastic from the two side gaps on the base of connector.

Try to change the MOSFET. When it blink is propably burned. Or maybe is not correct soldered.

I think the micro rubber isolated positive terminal with metal heads screwed the atomizer is broken. When driving the atomizer opens the hose and put away the positive pole to the body and make short circuit. Try not to over tighten the atomiser others throughout making contact to see if it works. Where does the same then it is broken the mosfet and must change.

oTehStyle step2: After you have expose the battery you can solder the black cable at the bottom side of the battery. At the end with a long screwdriver you can push inside the metal body the bottom cap. Now you must insert the battery in the metal body and solder the black wire with the botom cap before you put it back.

You'll need a soldering iron (and probably one who can use it for the sounds of it) Then it's a simple matter of soldering the wire back on to the connector. Do not try to tape it on or similar, it can result in catastrophic failure of the battery.

Hi, I am just trying to take out the pcb, but I am not able to remove the plastic part(pcb holder) from the battery head. In your video it looks easy, it came out together with the battery and button. Could you give me a hint how to remove it?

oTehStyle step1: try to remove the battery from the metal body. If you cannot remove it, try to heat the metal cap at the bottom and pull out the battery. Be careful to heat only the bottom cap with an iron solder and not for long time.

search on ebay for ao3401 or for a p-chanel mosfet with these features: VDS -30V ID (at VGS=10V) -4A RDS(ON) (at VGS=10V) < 50mΩ RDS(ON) (at VGS = 4.5V) < 60mΩ RDS(ON) (at VGS = 2.5V) < 85mΩ

I got a question. My red wire broke right where it meets the battery. All I did was rest the wire back onto the contact point and put it back together and it works but I'm wondering if that's dangerous.. would you know? Thanks

Is no need for diagram. There are only three wires. On the litle electronic board you'ill see a "G" or "GND" or minus sign(-). There you must connect the black wire. You can try to touch this point on the board with the black wire and you will see the led to blink.

I do not think it is dangerous. But sometimes it will work sometimes not. Depends on how stable the cable

Yahia azouz dont fill it upto 1.6 ml mark just pour flavour upto 0.8 ml mark and kepp it straight for 5 min

Hi i'm not sure if this is the solution to my problem. What my battery does is when i push the button normally, it doesn't light up, but if i pushed it to a specific direction, it lights up and stays on then blinks blue after a few seconds. i charged it but still the same thing. Please help out thanks

i had a problem with the battery not working so all i done was take the top of the battery exposing the battery and put a screwdriver against both terminals of the battery at the same time you only hold it there for a second and you might see a little flash not harmless i promise you and the battery will work again no problem!!! i hope that helps all you vapours out there!!! if that helps sort out your problem be sure to help others with the same problem!!! thank you all.

hi sokin1967..please help me..need some advise here..my ego was short circuit because of tank problem..if i press the button without atomizer it will stay normally power..but if i put the new tank, the led will blink like its was no power..and if i put the battery to charger, its will show green led(full charge)..after i open the battery i saw some melting plastic at the -ve poles..i have check the battery with multimeter and its show normal 3.7v..are the problem with the circuit or the wire?..

I tried to open the battery cap but I accidentally disconnect the yellow wire from the connector at the cap (the higher connection of the yellow wire, not the one connected to the board). How can I fix this problem?

I got exactly the same problem on 2 of my batteries...did you manage to fix it? They are just 2 weeks old...I think I shortend them with a paperclip while trying to make better contact.

probable cause.: 1. The battery you have exceeded the limit loads and the cell within is damaged 2. your atomiser is shorted I need more information to tell you more. What battery is, how long has it, what atomiser is used?

I do not suggest to sort the terminal of the battery. Maybe when you disassembling and assebling the battery did all the job.

Yes it is, but cost about 8 euro and i get it before 10 years. Is very useful for a quick and easy home use
